I went to my doctor about my wight and im now on the right track losing around 2lbs per week but could someone explain what a slow metabolism is? i felt silly asking the doctor! thanks

keepin up pilates! ate only fruit for lunch! it was really good i am already loosing weight! yay! drink lots and lots of water!!!

I am not over wieght but i no stuff then can help u and here are some:ExersiseEat whole meals Watch the junk Eat only when u are hungryDont eat bc ur BORED find something else to do Play sports Go outsideGO for walks with ur friends i am sure they will be happy to helpI have never been over weight but i do everything above and they keep me in shape!GOOD LUCK U CAN DO IT !!

Hi i'm new here and i have a question. If your like really overweight and dont exercise and stressed and depressed all the time can that stop you from having your period? Because i havent had mine for like 3 months and i think someone told me that it can stop because of that but i'm just wanting to make sure that its not something i should go to the doctor for. I dont know if its a health reason or not, and i am not sexually active. Please anyone who knows respond. Thanks. Sarah

I posted earlier but im thinking,,,does anyone know of a really good workout video? I kind of like to dancing or kickboxing ones....the ones ive tried before were like SUPER hard and didnt do anything for me! thanks!

hey everyone! here is another update. I did awesome today, but after dinner I had some cotton candy, but o well im not gonna shoot myself for it. For breakfast I had 1 cup of Honey Nut Cheerios, no milk just dry (110) then for lunch I had Chicken Fried Steak, i know bad but thats what we had for lunch today. I also had some lettuce with that and mashed potatoes. For dinner I had some turkey and stuffing. I also have been drinking tons of water and I had track today for 2 hours. see ya everyone

Well, what can i say? I worked my ass off all week working out and eating healthy, and i am exactly the same weight as i was 1 week ago! I know, I know, its because i probably just replaced it with muscle...but then that means i have to loose all 4 of the pounds i want to (in order to get to my 179 goal)...in 7 days! Well, today i'm doing 40 min. or kickboxing, then 20 minutes of pilates....tommorow i have dance for 3 hours, and the rest of the week i'll just do forty minutes of kickboxing, and a 10 minute strength routine every single day! argg I know i have lost inches in the past two weeks, and quite alot of them...but thats just not as satisfying as seeing the numbers drop on the scale...you know?Well today im going to the mall with some friends, and i'm not going to eat there because there's no healthy food. I was a little off food wise thisd week...but next week I'm going to be strict, but still have fun with it. I love my kickboxing videos, so ill keep doing those....well...wish me luck.xoxoMp.s how does lent work? I'd love to use that to help me! lol

Hey, i can't go on any of the weight watchers,atkins,south beach diets or anything like that because there too hard for my mom to explain to me how to do them, does anyone know any plans on how to lose 10lbs? thats me goal so far just to lose that and i was hoping someoen could help me because i've never lost weight before and i dont know how, thankz guys!! xoxoX

Hey guys! Today i ate 3 bites of a salad for breakfast. Then for lunch i had 3 BIG strawberries with wip cream and about 7 pretzels. For dinner i had speghetti with a big glass of water and now i'm about to go walking for 15 minutes. this is a bigggggggg change in my eating habbits...its really hard but so far, so good... considering im just starting today. i reaally want to lose about 12 pounds by summer so i can feel comfortable in a bikini. any suggestions on anything else i could do to help me reach my goal??! please leave comments!!! thanx!! -alyssap.s. - 5'5" 144 pounds.goal weight- 115-120

hi my name is kayla and im 14 and i am 5'8" and i weigh 180 pounds....i desperstly want to lose weight..i dont gte made fun of but its still impotant to me to be at a healthy weight. when i get older i want to be able to go swimming on a beach in a nice bikini but with the way i am now...its not gonna happen...i tried not eating and exercise while not eating and it didnt work....so all who is trying it...stop its a waste of time...your body stores the fat and it just isnt worth the health risk...but anyway..does anyone have any ideas that doesnt involve diet pills and tons of exercise???? if so you can email me at beware_of_the_penguins123@hotmail.com THANKS A TON!!

can i just say that i am so excited to reach my goal weight. amidst all of our dieting, everyone needs to start with the end in mind!! we all get so caught up in weight loss that we fail to look at the big picture, and i think we need to do that more on this board. I hope everyone can just stop and read this, you can reach your goal weight, you can be slim and healthy... don't get so caught up in everything, no matter what, life will go on!! We can all do this, and its time we got excited about our futures!!! ( lol sry if this sounds corny, but its true!!)
