Ht. 5'2", Start: 240 lb, Today: 195 lb, Goal: 170 lb - Just wanted to stop in and say hello to everyone its been a while since I posted I finally got out of the 200's Im leavin in a week to go to California and if I like it Im gonna stay so hopefully I work even twice as hard so I can go to the beach all the time:) keep up the good work everyone.

so that just motavated me to lose as much weight as i can this month or until i go to the beach on the 27~~~

Answer: Like any other body part, the triceps (or the back of the arm) won't respond to spot training. In other words, you can't do tricep exercises and hope to burn fat there. The only way to lose fat from under your arms is to lose overall body fat (see below) and hope your body will cooperate (your body is in charge of where and what order you lose body fat). That doesn't mean tricep exercises are useless...strength training is great for building muscle and helping to raise your metabolism and tricep exercises can help you build strength and firm up your muscles. So, training the triceps should be part of your regular exercise routine...just don't expect those exercises to get rid of any excess fat you may be storing there.

Ht. 5'7", Start: 178 lb, Today: 164 lb, Goal: 130 lb - Hey guys! I've been on my diet for about two weeks and I've already lost 14lbs! I feel great! I have also been exercising by walking and doing a few exercise tapes each day. I'm hoping to be down to atleast 150 by the time school starts and be at my goal weight by Christmas.

So far today I'm doing really good even though it's morning. The only way I can do this is just by taking it 1 hour at a time. I ate some oatmeal and a hashbrown, now I'm about to go walking. If I could just last until 3:30 which is when I leave to go to work, I'll be in good shape.

Ht. 5'8", Start: 179 lb, Today: 160 lb, Goal: 150 lb - Yesterday...was not so good lol. Hung out with one of my best friends Danielle. All she eats is junk food, like 24/7 but shes not overweight because she is a professional skiier (ranked like 2nd in the UK or something crazy like that!) Anyways i had eaten a healthy bfast and lunch b4 i went and then while i was there i had bowl of icecream with a choc flake, crisps, choc yoghurt, 1/2 pizza and then i had a big bag of minstrels at the cinema. Despite that junk-filled day which contained no exercise whatsoever, i weighed in a lb lighter this morning! I am actually quite proud of myself because usually if i eat unhealthy foods i always end up bingeing because i am stuck in the 'all or nothing' mindset but when i got home i ignored the binge urge, brushed my teeth and went straight to bed! Cant wait to see 150-something on the scale next =]

Usually this happens when no one is home, so I hate it when someone leaves. When I'm alone I feel like I have so much more freedom and I can't control myself--and then I go off binging. I had a bad binge last night too. What is going on with me? I feel so full, it hurts. I usually eat a lot when something is boterhing me (emotional eater,you guessed it)...but lately what's been bothering me is the fact that I'M NOT LOSING WEIGHT. DOes this make any sense? and then I jsut start eating. It should open my eyes and tell me that I need to work harder but I end up doing the opposite. I don't know what to do with myself. I'm a hopeless disaster. It's already July. Is my goal still reachable? I think not. At the rate I'm going. I just feel really bad. I even cried today cause I couldn't take the way I looked.
