i have decided to leave this site. it just isn't working out. i have no reason for being here. sure i give some advice but i'm not really over weight or anything. i don't fell right here. sorry. i will be on once in a while though. bye, and thanks to all those really nice people i met!

This is not about me. I need help too, but it's my 7 year old brother that weighs 110 lbs and is only 4'4". He has a BMI of 28.7 and is supposed to weigh 68 lbs, that makes him 42 lbs overwieght. Is that obese??? He just eats and plays Playstation. He never does his chores. When we eat dinner he eats more than me and I'm almost twice his age!! On incident I remamber is when my dad made burgers and fries, I had one and a 1/2 and a spoonful of fries, while James, had 3 burgers, 4 spoons of fries, and 2 slices of cake after (which I didn't want). I have heard yellin some nights from the kitchen. Dad to James, I think he was down there eating fattening food. I need help, my Dad tries to make him diet, but my mom lets him eat, and eat, and eat ect. Plz Help!!!

Hey everyone I have a tip that helped me lose weight...when your on a diet if one day you cheat or binge on something dont treat it like the end of the diet it was just a slip up remember your goals and dont feel you need to quit the diet from one or two mistakes.

Okay I made up my own diet plan:
I wake up a half hour early in the morning to exercise i walk/run and jump on the tramopline do crunches and squats
Then I have a slim fast drink or bar for breakfast
Then while im in school I take a lunch with me that consists of a sandwich and a bottle of water (do not skip ANY MEALS it makes u more hungry)
When I ge home, if I'm hungry I eat some celery or carrots with low-fat dressing
Then I do whatever school work i need to do and then i either dance or jump on my trampoline
Then I eat whatever my mom makes because she eats very healthy so if ur parents dont eat healthy u can replace whatever they eat with something good for you.
Then itry to hold back from dessert and drink a lot of water.
Exercise: you can either use the trampoline or if u dont have one jumping ropes are awesome...light weights are good... (view more)

Ahh! Did anyone read that article in 'Teen people' I think about that plus sized modle who was *so* pretty and she killed herself? She used to be fat, but then she lost weight and people liked her and she discoverd that they only liked her becuase she looked pretty. Isn't our world a sad one ? :(

Good news everyone! I got a trampoline!! It's so much fun to bounce. My parents made a deal with me though. I have to jump for 15 minutes a day. It gets really tiring, but I turn on the radio or listen to my cd player. Also, now that its a lot warmer outside, I go outside and kick my soccer ball at the stairs everyday. The stairs "pass" the ball back. Speaking of the weather, swimsuit season is coming up. Oh how I hate pulling on a swim suit that shows every detail in your body. Ugh! Well, this year I'm going to this camp and I want to be thinner by then. Hopefully I'll be able to wear a bikini infront of my seriously fit best friend. Crunches, crunches, crunches is all I'll be doing until the last two weeks of July. Proportion wise I'm not doing well, but I've been drinking lots of water. I am 5'5 and weighed 169.4 last sept, Now I weigh 131.3, and here is how i Did it...
*I stopped drinking pop and sugar jucies, I only drank orange juice and lots of water.
*I ONLY ate when I was hungry
*I avoided snacks and candy (ate them rarely)
*Ate meals slowly and cut the fatty foods in half in what I would normaly eat (ex. instead of 2 slices of pizza, I ate 1)
Im just saying that if you make a plan and stick with it, you can do it! The best thing to avoid is pop, Remember that a large cola in Mcdolnalds has more fat than a Mig Mac. Also that the average person can gain 15 pounds a year if they drank 1 can a pop everyday.

Im 14 i weigh almost 200lb and Im 5'11(yea i kwow i weigh alot) but i have tryed everything i know how...i only eat on meal a day thats a salad at lunch..i try slimfast didnt work cuz thats stuff is grose...but if ne one has any suggestions to help me plz email me at candy69coated@hotmail.com PLZ

not to brag or anything, but i lost ten pounds since i've been here and i am just so HAPPY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i was 120 pounds and new i was a bit chubby (not over weight) but chubby and all my friends my hight weighed 10 pounds less then me. i felt kinda fat. so i found this site and started working on loseing weight and i found it fairly easy. 9 months it took me to lose 10 pounds and i know i could have done that with in a month, but i didn't want any one to know i was trying to lose so i did it slowly. this last month i really got into it being summer anda all and i lost 5 pounds for that. if u wanna know how reply.

Hey everyone.. my mother recently lost 45 pounds by joining a weight watching program. I realize that I am overweight too but now that shes smaller than me, she puts me down all the time. Most of my friends are smaller than me and its really embarresing when they can wear the skimpy clothes and everything and I cant. They all say Im very pretty and not fat.. I know Im overweight though.. I'm 5'3 and 155 pounds.

Okay im 5"8 and I weigh 140 which is a health y weight for my height but all my firneds are like 100 lbs and 5"7 (only an inch shorter than me) and they wear a size 3 and i wear a zize 7 i no that cud b bcuz i have big hips but please can anyone tell me if thT slimfast stuff works? cuz i really really want to be able to get down to 120 by the end of summer please help me and dont reply to tell me that m not fat ... im not comfotable and i want to b thinner for once i wanna b skinny PLEASE REPLY

How much weight can i lose in 3 weeks. This girl on the sucess stories said she lost17lbs. in 6 weeks. So since i only have 3weeks, i did the math and it came out to be 8,5lbs in 3 weeks. PLEASE REPLY TODAY!!!!!!!!
