Ht. 5'3", Start: 162 lb, Today: 147 lb (BMI %tile: 89), Goal: 104 lb - I believe it is 147-145 pounds ! because I wear a 12 pants Juniours or Missess, Peites. I am almost a size 10! so exicted! about that,next hopefully a size 6! Girls 18XL! girls sometimes I get discourged,but I don't let that get it in my way! nothing wrong having popcorn just have it plain with salt or without! my friend James,is happy that I made progess with my changed eating habits! I don't even bother with orange soda, I mean once in a while is ok! if you need tips.Im right on the borad!

Ht. 5'6", Start: 203 lb, Today: 180 lb (BMI %tile: 94), Goal: 130 lb - Well today I went out and I am very proud of myself! I didn't go crazy with the eating, I actually stayed on track. I went to the movies and had no popcorn, just water, and for lunch I saved half of my meal for later. I'm feeling quite happy with myself. Also, I've lost 5 more pounds!! Im that much closer to goal :D

Write down all the reasons that cause you to begin to stir and want to lose weight. This is just for you, so be bold and write everything down, even if it's very personal. 
Then write down- How will your life be better if you lose the weight? 
If you don't lose the weight, what are you going to miss out on?
What opportunities will you lose out on of you don't lose weight.
Now while I'm trying to lose weight I keep up on my diet for a week and one day of the week I have a cheat day, where I can eat anything I want. Just think about it. You eat healthy for a week and then on Saturday(or whatever day you want it on) you can eat anything you want. That really helps motivate me. Treat yourself!

I'm trying to help my mom lose weight (Shes 5'3 203lbs and she wants to be about 130) and she said she needs to be weaned off soda so I suggested 10 cal soda. I just wanted to know if its bad for you or not.

released in high levels anytime you ingest what would be considered a "simple"
carbohydrate, which would include, but not be limited to: fruit juice, white bread,
most wheat,white rice, baked
white potato, bagels, croissants, pretzels, anything with high fructose corn syrup
Two actions occur when the insulin levels are spiked. First, the body's fat burning
process is shut down so that the sugar that has just been ingested can be
immediately used for energy. Then, insulin takes all that sugar and puts it into your
muscles. Well, not quite! Actually, most of us, except those random Ironman
triathletes and 8000-calories-per-day exercisers, walk around with fairly full energy
stores in the muscles. As soon as the muscles energy stores are full, the excess
sugars are converted to fat.

Ht. 5'4", Start: 171 lb, Today: 149 lb (BMI %tile: 91), Goal: 108 lb - !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I weighed myself and I've lost 2 more pounds!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Saying NO to cookies and sweets, soda, fried foods, EVERYTHING unhealthy isn't even a problem to me anymore!!!!!!! Sorry for all the excitement but being 149 is like HUGE for me! A year ago, I would break down in tears when I would wish to weight less. My sister used to make fun of me but now I weigh 2lbs less then her, were pretty close, but she can be a real pain sometimes. Never give up and never give in. So excited! Going to take my dog Faygo out for a long walk today.
Today's meals:
Breakfast: 1 glass (8oz.) fat free milk, gala apple
Snack: 5 Ritz crackers
Lunch: Sandwich, lettuce, pickles, mustard, 1 slice cheese.
Snack: Grapes
Dinner: IDK? 1 serving of What ever my mom's making

Ever since middle school, I have not agreed with my weight. It started with my stomach being larger, then as puberty hit, my butt and thighs. I have slim arms and you can't tell I'm large from my face, but I am bigger. It's the worst feeling in the world. It's on my mind 24/7. My friend insists that I'm not fat, but she wouldn't tell me I was even if I looked like jabba the hutt. To top it off, she is like 90 pounds . When I'm with her I feel like crying because I feel huge. So, for my new years resolution, I decided this needs to stop. After a year of googling weight loss pointers, it's time to actually put it in action. I have tried before, but gave up and failed. Ht. 5'5", Start: 180 lb, Today: 180 lb (BMI %tile: 95), Goal: 130 lb - I hate being overweight mostly since i will be graduating in 6 months (and Prom is coming up too)! I eat healthy, that's not a problem, my problem is that i do not do as much exercise. I get discouraged because i have tried to loose weight but is hard because i have PCOS ( it makes it hard for girls to loose weight).I am going to start doing more exercise and hopefully loose at least 50 pounds by June 1st (PROM NIGHT!).

Ht. 6'2", Start: 263 lb, Today: 263 lb (BMI %tile: 98), Goal: 185 lb - Another day. Hope to post less soon but while I'm starting the ability to write and receive feedback is so nice. Back to 263. Weigh myself every morning right when I wake up in my PJ bottoms and t-shirt. So I know I'm getting a consistent read.
Breakfast - 2 bagels and cream cheese
Morning snack - 1 cereal bar
Lunch - turkey and cheese sandwich with mustard, soda
Afternoon snack - 2 cereal bars, soda
Dinner - a hearty portion of enchiladas (a heckuva of a lot less than I used to have). 1 last soda.
Desert - small piece of chocolate cream pie.
Exercise - 10 minute walk around neighborhood. Wednesday is usually a really busy day for me. I'm finding it REALLY hard to fit exercise into my schedule. How do you do it??!!
