Ht. 5'5", Today: 157 lb (BMI %tile: 91) - Hey:-) I haven't been here in forever. Does Henry and Jay still come on here? Anyways....a couple posts back a girl (I believe it was Rachel...) said her birthday was on February 19...so is mine! lol, how cool is that...Anyways. I want to have some of my new years resolution finished by then. I'm sick of saying "I want to lose x amount of pounds before this date." Because that never works for me. I like things like..."By this date I want to have done everything that I could in order to lose x amount of pounds..." and if I don't lose that much, at least I'll know that I tried...and if I do...great. So, instead of having my new years resolution be "Lose 30-40 lbs by summer or else..." I want to have one like, "Eat healthier...exercise daily (no excuses) and feel better by...date" Anyone think that sounds better? and would anyone like to be my diet buddy? I'm 5'4 3/4" (5'5")... i need help. i'm on Xmas break and i usually put weight back on on breaks. and i really don't want to this time. I usually eat a lot etween meals and since i'm at home i dwell on my problems so i eat... and i'm going to spend a lousy Xmas... help

Ht. 5'7", Today: 192 lb (BMI %tile: 98) - I am 5"7 192 and keeping with what i said. I want to be at at lest a semi-healthy weight by jn 5th today i had one bowl of cerial with 2% milk and i had two mints for lunch i am having a few glasses of iced tea and for dinner i will eat some rice or nodles and today i have had tons of areobic exercise and sit-ups along with crunches!

Start: 170 lb, Today: 148 lb, Goal: 125 lb - my original goal was 145 but i'm 148 and now that i'm nearing it i'm not seeing the body i want still. i've lost 22 pounds but it's not enough and i'm not where i want to be. so my other goal is 130 but now i'm thinking perhaps 125 to give myself some room to gain and lose a couple of pounds here and there. i really wish i had gone down some pants sizes but i haven't and i'm going shopping on friday and i think i'll buy some snug clothes and work my butt off trying to lose enough to fit into them. maybe one pair opf pants. but man- i really wish i had lost more inches- right now i don't care about weight- i care about INCHES and it's just not going away! grrrr. i'm working so hard for it not to be showing. other people claim to see a difference but i think they're just being nice- especially my boyfriend. he says he loves my body right now and that i don't need to lose weight but he... Ht. 5'4", Today: 150 lb (BMI %tile: 88), Goal: 130 lb - hey people im new.. i need help majorly.. okay i have this dance on january 31.. and i weight 145-150 and im 5'4.. i have a really pretty dress. and i want to lose like 20 pounds by than do u think i can do it.. by eating eggs in the morning an apple for snack or some kind of fruit and than a salad for dinner and or some low fat soup.. do u think i can do it by than also i wil be running 3 miles a day..? please comment back i would really like to know if i can do this? thanks everyone

Hello! OKay, this is my moment of truth. I am going to loose weight this break. I WILL!! I dont care how much, but this will be my jumppstart! OKay, I need major tips!!! How does this sound? I'll do 15 minutes of the machine "Tony LIttle's Gazelle" twice a day...so thats 30 minutes of cardio...Then I'll do 15 minutes of weight traning with 3 and 5 pound weights, and a therma band. Ill also practice dance evryday...And as for food...Im just going to be smart. That simple. Please give me more tips, help me, please!

Today: 181 lb, Goal: 157 lb - Hey Everyone, Today was sort of a difficult day for me, everyhting was goig great, and then at church the sermon today hit really close to home, don't want to get into personal details.. but it ws rough. So when I got home I was scared to jump on the scale, but I knew you guys were seeing who could lose the most weight.. So I got on and had to make sure what I was reading was right, (we don't have a digital scale) so i started counting backwards with all the little lines to make sure! I lost six pounds! It was great and defientley has brought up my motivation. I really haven't been doing anything special, just tryin to make healthy choices, and staying busy! If I could give you all any advice.. during Christmas break have fun do stuff, keep busy! im telling you it helps, because when you are out with friends you dont think about food! I have read a lot of posts lately and I just wanted to say that it looks like everyone who is trying to lose is not confident about it. For me, I always had a quote in mind. My favorite is "begin with the end in mind" and I think it is so appropriate. When you start your diet you have to begin with the confidence that you can do it. You have to find the strength to pull through all of it. Don't give up,begin with the end in mind. When you fall short of your goal,don't stop. Keep pushing until you cross the finish line. Since Im sick and it is hard for me to do taebo I am cleaning the house that burns cals and my mom is paying me $30 for doing it so hey its a win win situation. Well good luck to all of you trying to loose weight
