ok, i know some of u are very familier with this strange sport to me....cricket. now i know it has nothing to do with weight and stuff, but i like MUST KNOW what cricket is. i tried to read it on the computer but it takes forever and its like in technical terms and its hard to understand! and i know the cricket world cup is going on but its hard to keep tabs on it for social studies when i don't even know what it is! so, i beg of u people who contain the knowledge of the cricket world, please tell me what u know!

Ht. 5'8", Today: 150 lb (BMI %tile: 72) - Hi everyone! i'm new to this site and have a question to ask. ok, i'm a Junior in high school, and I play soccer and basketball. Recently, my basketball coach has referded to me as being "husky". I'm not sure what it mean, and i never thought of myself as fat or over weight before. i'm 5'8 and 150-ish. Any advise or at least the meaning of the word would be helpful, since I can not seem to find a clear-cut def. in the dictionary. Thanks so much!!!

incase anyone's wondering what ive been doing to lose weight, ive been walking to and from school, doing 15mins stretches & 15mins dancing in the morning when i get up, and try and go on as long walks as i can and do an aerobics video.i eat an apple in the morning and at break time, and at lunch i make my own sandwich and take it 2 skool & have it with an apple( alot of apples i know but i love them!) and for dinner i have a microwavable meal. i hate vegetables so this way suits me best. i vary calories intakes everyday, having 1200-1500 most days, but one day a week having 800 and another having 2000. this stops your body from goin into starvation mode and storing fat, and boosts the metabolism.HOPE IVE BEEN OF HELP.........GOOD LUCK 2 EVERYBODY XXX

Start: 14 st 9, Today: 14 st 1 - hey guys. i joined weight wathers 2 weeks ago & ive lost 7 1/2lbs. im so happy. now im down to 14st 1lb(dunno wot that is in lbs!) its not been as hard as i thought. i dont do all that points stuff coz its confusing, but i joined because of the weigh in. it'd be sooooo embarrasing for me if the said id gained weight so it makes me try harder.  (Note: 14 st 1 is 197 lb.)

Hey all. I posted a message on this site a few days ago and someone named Lindsay gave me a tip that eating ice helps stop cravings... Well I came home today from school and opened the fridge (automatic move)lol and I saw a plate of cupcakes sitting there. I only ate one but I went back for a second. It took me a long time to resist that second cupcake craiving lol but I grabbed some ice to eat insted. Thanks Lindsay. If anyone has some more tips just post them thanks! :)

Today: 265 lb, Goal: 140 lb - Hi everyone out there I'm 21 years old,I'm very overweight. I'm about 265 lbs and is not so funnu but I'm am trying to loose the weight to 140 lbs, I also on jenny cragi but is hard for me to loose it becouse I thinking about the gain wight fodds all the time and i also get sress have problems ,get upset and thats making me eat, still be the same wight but i did it before but now is harder for me to loose it first is wrere easly now is not for me to do cause i'm around people who allow to eat those things that i can't eat and it's making me want to eat this again again again when i lloose it before yes i was happy and feeling good about myself and i also meeting boys too but they just wanting s** from me, good luck for yall guys out there trying to loose remember loose weghit for yourself not for others.

Start: 158 lb, Today: 148 lb - Hello, everyone! Well, I think its been about two weeks since I posted, but I was lurking everyday. Well, two weeks I know, this guy told me that if I wanted to lose weight, that I couldn't eat anything but fruits and vegtables (only fresh, not cooked or canned) for 14 days! He said it helped cleaned you out, and got you jumpstarted and excited to lose weight. So I did it, and today is day 15. I ended up losing about 10 pounds (Although I'm supposing that a lot was water weight). But I'm still happy with my results. When I started, I was 158, and now I'm 148! I've never been able to break that barrier before, and I'm so happy! My new goal is to break 130, and I'm sure I can reach it within a month or two. WOW! This is a great diet. Lots of people say eat only veggie. No,it isn't healthy. Drink a TON of water! Cut all your food in half. Eat veggies for snacks, or dont even have snacks. Choose salad at school but if you do not have salad as a choice cut it in half. It works!

Today: 125 lb - well, today is my birthday! and with eating cake, pizza, ice cream, and a lot of junk - I gained two pounds! YUCK! I know I should be allowed to go off my diet for atleast one day a year, but I just feel awful after I lost over 50 pounds and now gained two. but, hey, atleast I didnt gain it all back! Im 125 right now. Wish me luck. I am going to do Pilates workouts tonight in my bed. I hope that burns enough calories. Tomorrow, I have decided to not eat. after binging today, I feel so bad! Not eating makes me feel better. Before I blew out my candles, I wished that I was skinny by the time I graduate! God, I hope so! :) :(

ATTENTION EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! especially lauren! i was talking about the wrong diet. do not listen to what i said about atkins diet was totally wrong. i was talking about this diet called the divas diet. Here is a little tip, I've always found it easier to lose weight as a "side effect". What i mean by that is that losing weight has always been better for me when it's a surprise. I think the best way to go about this is to start a training regimine, for a sport, or just for personal health. There are many sites on the net devoted to training and cross training for sports. Pick up and program and track your progress by things such as how long you can run and how much weight can you bench. That way, you get two self esteem boosters-progressing as far as health, and weightloss. Trust me, success is sweeter this way. Good luck!

What exactly can you eat in the Atkins Diet? Is that a good diet? I was thinking of trying the Special K diet.. But I don't know which one of the two can make you lose more weight. Somebody please respond and help!!
