Ht. 5'5", Today: 172 lb (BMI %tile: 96) - I am new at this, but I am 172 lbs and 5'5. I have tried everything from hollywood diet to just trying to eat healthier, and its embrassing to say, but I cant even say that my problem is I always gain the weight back, becasue I cant even lose weight in the first place. I have very much trouble staying on a diet and I need some help! I am willing to include weight training and exercise daily in my plan to lose weight but I need diet help, I am very inactive! any help would be soooo much appericated!~God Bless

Hey guys, Just a tip. If you're on a diet right now and wondering why you're not losing as much weight as you had hoped, try adding more protien to your diet. More meats and boiled nuts. It really worked for me. I love the fact that eating more makes you lose more. It's great.

Today: 199 lb, Goal: 135 lb - Hey everyone! im 199 right now! hope to be 135 by March 15th when i'll be 14! the only exercise i get is walking to and from school ( a mile and half downhill, then mile and a half uphill or 3 miles) 5 days a week. any easy things that will help me? im not really flexible and i dont have that much endurance(your probly thinkin that i cant do any exercises) so im not good at exercising, im hoping i can become more flexible and have more endurance if i exercise more! any good fairly easy exercise ideas would be GREATLY appreciated!

i've lost 15 pounds so far but i'm not losing any pant sizes! it's frustrating- so i was thinking about going on the south beach diet or the atkins diet- or trying just to eat as many veggies verses other foods as i can because my mom's pants are really lose when she goes on that diet and although i am thinner it's not where i want to be skinner the most! this gets so frustrating. can someone reply and put a link to a good website that's free for the south beach diet? becasue people keep telling others to look it up on the internet but all i can find are web sites asking for money.grrrr. i really would feel wonderful if i lost a couple sizes...

Hey! ok, I really want to lose 15 pounds but I can't seem to stick with my diet because I always give into my cravings for chocolate and other junky foods. It's so frustrating!! Hello everyone! I want to lose weight reall bad before my gymnastics competition in a few months, because i have to wear a leotard only, and i am embarssed for my jiggly thighs and butt and stomach! Those are the places i would like to un-jiggle- my hips, butt, upper thighs and stomach. I want to go on the atkins diet and stuff, but i want something simple. What are some things that could help me with my upper thighs and stomach? PLEAES HELP ASAP!

thanks anne thanks shelly well i got this machine that tells you how much fat is on you i found out i have 166lbs of fat on me that means i have 204lbs of muscle on me but that still a lot of fat soooo "rock on good nite"!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i am thinking about exercsing for about an hour 4 times a week, along with the slim fast diet. I usually eat alot, maybe about 1,700-2,000 calories a day and bascilly no exercise. If i have 2 of the slim fast shakes a day, and air popped popcorn with no salt or butter, and an apple for a snack and some type of chicken dinner, would I lose weight?DO THE SLIM FAST SHAKES(2 A DAY) WORK? and if so, if every sunday if i treated myself to a box of fat free ju ju bees, would i still lose weight?
