Hey everyone I dont have school today so I am useing today wisely to start my lent give up i am giving up all candy and cokkies and stuff like that if i give up junk food i wont be able to becaue if u look at it chips and that stuff is junk food to so I am going to give up all desert type things and that will help me a lot and I am going to have helahty stuff more often and excercise more and by the time lent is over i will be at 150 cuz thats like the beginning of my spring break so i have to loose 20 pounds do u think I can do this or do u think this will be to hard for me to loose that much please reply with ur answer. hey i actually did good today! for breakfast i had a pear, for lunch and dinner i had vegetable soup, and for a snack i had some grapes. plus i did yoga and walked home...thats good right?

hey, i dunno, what is wrong wit me, im 5'2 167lbs and i thougt i was eating 2 much but now i have been thinking about it, i dont eat very much more than my 4 year old brother. im not doin it on purpose to lose weight, that is just how i eat. i know i shud be doing more excersise but i dont reeli know wat 2 du, i find aerobic excersise XTREMLY difficult and i definatly cant do it for much longer than 10mins. i would love to join a gym n use the machines but i cant bcoz they all say u have 2 b 16. does anyone know any low-impact excersise that i can do which will make me, lose weight, be fitter and more flexible???? also i find it hard 2 stick 2 a routine so does anyone have any tips on motivating myself aswell?

People, please try to be sensible. Weight that wasint put on in a day aint gonna be took off in one. Starvin yourself is hurting your body, and that is not good. Youll feel all tired and lose muscle not fat. K?

Ok, I really don't understand this. At school people always make comments about my being fat, and how no guy will ever like me, and I even see myself as fat. But I've been on a lot of web sites like this one and they all tell me that I am the right weight or some even say I'm underweight- what is up with this?

hey, im veryoverwieght. this time last year i belive i was 214? but im 196 now, i believe. i have decided to cuz down on food portions cuz ive realized that i eat when im thirsty? lol yeah.. so i have decided to only eat when i have a meal and if i want a snack i shuld have an apple or fruit or some water. i have also been doin these abdominal exercises which have helped, i can feel it in my legs. =) my goal is to lose 10lbs.. i would like ur input on this. my aim sn is baybeboox

Hey! I haven't been on in a while, but things haven't gone the greatest! Every week when I get on the scale, it says the same weight or sometimes more! I haven't eaten like I should, and I have been eating way too much! I had my 14th birthday party a few days ago, and it was so fun, but there was too much food and I pigged out I was like why did you do that? I can't find anything that I will stick with! I am trying yoga, and it does help me feel calmer and more confident, and plus I am more flexible. I haven't told you my stats...I don't think...I am 5'0 and 137 lbs. My goal is like 113-110 by April 20th-26th cuz our 8th grade class is going on a trip to Washington, D.C. and I want to be able to keep up with everyone.... Anyways, that's my update, if anyone has any suggestions, please post because I need some more help! See ya soon!

hey im starting tomorow (cuz thats when lent starts so it will be easier!) Ok..i'm giving up all desserts, sweets etc. all fried foods, soft drinks, most pasta..and im only going to drink water. im also going to do 100 crunches a day and 500 jumping jacks. i will dance wildly (lol) to like 5 songs a day...do u think that will be ok? plus yoga..walking home etc.

I started going to Curves gym a month ago, in my first month I lost two inches and a whole percent of my body fat, I didnt think I was doing very well, but Im guess its better then nothing.

hey everyone im like 145-150 and 5'4im on vacation and i leave tomorw and im starting htis 6 meal diet plan.. its u eat egg whites or yogurt in the morning chumbersand tomatoes or salad with no dressing for lunch and dinner 1/4 cup low fat rice and steamed veges and 1 small chicken breast.. and than u do 1 hr cardio 30 min weights 30 yoga and i want to lose 25-30 pounds by april 7..
DOES ANYONE THIS ITS POSSIBLE.. PLEASE I REALLY NEED THIS!! everyone time i post no one comments and i really need help.

Hey I have posted stuff before .. about me being 170 and 5'6. I am unhappy with my weight ...my stomach is where I am really unhappy with. I am on the South Beach diet/Atkins...do they really work? I run two miles everyday that it is possible(if its not like raining)and I need and would like some advice on what to do to lose like 60lbs by May 20!! I'm 5'4, and about 155 lbs. I was about 170 when I started coming here, and somehow managed to lose 15 lbs. I was hoping to get around 150 when I started coming here, but now that I'm close to 150, I am still very uncomfortable with the way I look. I'm hoping to be about 110 by July 4th, because that's when I usually see all my friends for the first time since school got out. I have 0 motivation, and I have no idea how I am going to lose 40 lbs in 5 months! We just moved behind the new city park, and the walking track is in my backyard so I am hoping to rollerblade and stuff like that once the snow melts. Ok, I don't want to sound rude or anything, but I've been reading some recent messages that were posted, and they are stupid diet guidelines. There are a lot of people saying that they're not eating breakfast, and eating something tiny for lunch, and stuff like that. Well, just to let all of you know, when you skip meals, your metabolism slows down, and you don't lose as many calories and fat as you should. YEah, a lot of you are losing weight following this STUPID diet, but when you start eating like a normal person, your body will think you're stuffing yourself and you will gain gain gain! 2 years ago I skipped breakfast, ate something small for lunch and dinner. I started eating breakfast and eating healthier, and though i gained some weight, I lost more then I wieghed originally because I ate breakfast, which made me more energized to go and exercise...plus, you don't start to burn... I was very overweight overweight. I never really went on a ~diet~. I just really cut down food portions. I am still doing this until I am a size 0. I do not eat breakfast but sometimes I'll gulp some fruit juice or something...occasionally I'll have some apple sauce. About 6 hours later (at school) I'll have usually nothing. sometimes I'll have a one french fry or a bottled water. Then another six hours later i'll take in somewhere between 100-250 calories. I am losing weight rapidly. Should I stop? Should I continue? Why so?
