Ht. 5'4", Start: 149.8 lb, Today: 149.8 lb (BMI %tile: 88), Goal: 125 lb - I'm a fat cow and I hate myself. I have no idea how I gained almost 20 pounds this year, but it is NOT acceptable. This summer, I'm losing it all. And when I come back to school in the fall, people are going to do double takes.

Ht. 5'2", Start: 192 lb, Today: 192 lb (BMI %tile: 98), Goal: 125 lb - hello my name is tiffani and i have had a really hard time trying to fit in because i am big for most people in my school. i have always wanted to be "skinny" but skinny doesnt mean healthy so i am working on my goal to be a healthy person instead of skinny. i haven't always had an overweight problem but i really wish that i would have stayed active and tried to be healthy. i hope that in the future i can influence people to be healthy and try to stay that way.

I wanna take it slow and go a little bit at a time because losing too much at one time is unhealthy. But, I've been known to push myself to the limit of almost hurting myself and I don't wanna do that but I don't feel comfortable now :) Please help. Kay thanks !

Ht. 5'1", Start: 148 lb, Today: 145 lb (BMI %tile: 91), Goal: 120 lb - all my life i felt something was wrong with me....my sister is small and i love her but i dont knw why im big..my father says i get it from his side. no one in my family knows this but i wake up in the morning and dont want to look in the mirror..it hurts so much sumtimes that i want to hurt myself....i pinch or punch thats all but those moments make the frustration go away...my ex knows everything im goin through , he's my bestfriend but my problem has caused me to become mean to him. right now as im writting this i feel beautiful....now its gone...i feel ugly again. i wrk out every day and no change tht i want to give up...my class trip is cumming up soon and every one asks am i going swimming..i say no afraid tht i will b made fun off....i hope tht some one who undertands what im going through will reply...just sum one plz mzaybe we can wrk together to make this happen :)

Ht. 5'0", Start: 150 lb, Today: 150 lb (BMI %tile: 98), Goal: 147 lb - Hello. Im 5 feet tall and weigh 150 pounds. Im 13 years old. I really need to loose some weight. I dont eat very unhealthy but I keep packing on the pounds. I can never loose weight and weigh inder 147. It seems unpossible. Can someone give me tips or maybe help me out?

Ht. 5'5", Start: 152 lb, Today: 174 lb (BMI %tile: 96), Goal: 150 lb - Hi everyone. this is my first time posting on here, and I hope you all will be able to help. I just finished my freshman year of highschool. Over the course of this year, I put on 22 pounds. I've been denying it all year, because i didn't want to deal with it. A lot of my clothes don't fit. My stomach now hangs over my pants, and I have to suck it in to be able to button my jeans. I can no longer wear any of my snugger shirts, because of the way i stick out over my pants. I don't feel like I've been eating anything differently, or exercising less (I'm SUPER active- I'm a wrestler and I wrestle 4 days a week and also play soccer). I'm very muscular, but I also know that 174 lbs is too much for someone my age. I carry a lot of weight in my stomach, and as a result it hangs out from under my shirts, as well as bulging out when I sit down. It's getting big enough that my friends are starting to notice, and I don't want to get very obese. I'm starting to get bigger again, and I want to put a stop to it before it gets out of hand. What should I do?

Bad news. :( I gained even more weight.I tried to listen to all the advice people have been giving me, but I cant help myself. When my parents are around, I am good about not eating too much. Last time i posted I told about when I went to the doctor, and my Mom told me how gross it is that I am so big. Ever since then my Mom has been watching me when she's around, but whenever she's gone, I binge like crazy. Most of my friends have cars, and are also overweight, so we go to mc donalds or burger king and eat, and we eat so much more than we should. my friends arent as big as i am and when they cant finish their food I finish it for them, even if it makes me want to throw up. I cant stop putting on this weight, and I honestly don't even know what to do anymore.

Like I said on my last post I've lost 14 lbs....Now it seems like no matter how dutiful I am with exercise or how well I ate that day that I just can't shake any weight off. I go up a bit then I go down a bit then I stay the same then up then down....good news is I'm really good at maintaining, just not losing. Any tips to rev up my metabolism, exercise tips, food tips?

They want you to stop eating carbs for two weeks. Even veggtable, or ploutry, I would not try it If I were you.. not a good idea, I would try EatingWell or The Diet book for Teengers only, I heard that is a good diet for teens it was written by mother and teenger dauther aged 15 five years a go..My dad wants to use South Beach diet, it is not good for growing kids or teens. For safety of you health and well being.... And dont eat creal for two weeks that also unhelahty. I thought Specail K was crazy.... They did not linclude excriseing or eating small blanced meals, or half cup of creal or a half cup of milk either.... Dont try SouthBeach diet, or Arskins. Dont even mess with them. I am loseing weight, and alos SouthBeach webiste is free only for 7 days, and after that they charge $5 a week. I think it is worthless.

Ht. 5'3", Start: 162 lb, Today: 157 lb (BMI %tile: 94), Goal: 118 lb - I remeber having issues like that, It was horible, but I never gave up, I remeber having a hard finding clothes. It took me an hour to find a swimsuit that fits me. Almost last summer, and even 11 mounths a go. I weighed 165 pounds, I was at risk becoming to be obesty. I was almost 170 pounds, Today I am working on to 118 pounds, I have noicted the differents. Eating less, and excriseing drinking watet, helps, water improves weight loss, doing a lot of things that are excriseing, Bike riding, running, walking, swiming, riding sctccor, walking the dog, I was reading what other teens are do a workout with excriseing DVD"S I saw the DVD on Amazon. Extrme tone for teens Dance workout. I would recomand it. Even I havent bought it yet, It is a DVD for teens, I think it cost like $14.99 or $7.99 used. It is a work out dvd.. Ht. 5'3", Start: 157 lb, Today: 157 lb (BMI %tile: 94), Goal: 118 lb - I forgot that I can weigh 118 pounds!!! I lost seven pounds so far. I only got 39 pounds to go yay... I am bit mad,, I worked so hard to get out of the 160's I just have to push myself more. I excrised a lot while I was away. I dont know what happened. I avoied the dounts. I am doing good. Staying from junk food vending minches, I usually get a trail mix is favorites. When I get a bad minegrain I eat dark chocolate, I used to not like it. Even when I was 13 I did not like dark chocolate. It is sort of strange. I guess my taste. Changed I will eat milk chocolate once in a while!! I got the dark chocolate taste from my mom.. I am eating less. No seconds, no no I am drinking lots of water!! I know it hard but I can do it and once for all to be 118 pounds..
