A few good eating tips that I found in a book(i dont remember the title):"The payoff diet is the feeling that you have control over your weight. But it is a false sense of control. Think about it:Is it really control if you gain all the weight as soon as you go off the diet?The advice to skip dieting is even more important for teens than it is for adults. Why? because your body is growing and developing right now-your in transition-and being on some idiotic diet at this stage in your life can be unhealthy and interfere with your growth. Dieting is not cool. It is self-destructive."

Hi I just wanted to share some tips with everyone. Here are some metabolism boosters (your metabolism is what burns fat and calories) Water is good but it doesn't raise your metabolism rate but Green Tea does. If you drink 4 cups a day it can burn 50 to 60 extra calories per day, it isn't alot but it adds up. Try to eat spicy foods because that raises metabolism too. Try to get your 3 a day of dairy like skim milk, low-fat cheese, and nonfat yogurt. Lifting weights can help you burn more calories too because that builds muscle and muscle burns mor fat and calories then fat does. I hope you take my advice and I hope the tips work for you.

i am 15 years old and i weigh 175 pounds. i want to loose weight this over this summer and i wanna know if anyone has any tips on how to lose maybe 30 pounds in one month or two months or more? im 20 pounds over weight and ive just relized that i am not happy that i am actually depressed with myself if anyone has any ideas or tips on how i can loose some weight pleae reply and ill give you my e-mail.

I have some time before I go to work, so I decided I'd tell you about my past habits before I met some helpful people along the way. I used to eat a small, unhealthy breakfast consisting of white bread and sweets. Then, I 'd pig out for lunch and have 2 or more pieces of cake for dessert. Then, half an hour before dinner, I'd eat 7 or 8 cookies hoping I'd spoil my appetite so I don't have to eat so much. Well, in reality, the cookies are higher in calorie than dinner itself. It didn't work, of course, and I ate a huge dinner and didn't stop until my stomach hurt. I felt like crap afterward, so I thought, "well since I screwed up today, I might as well eat more". So before bedtime EVERY NIGHT, I'd eat several donuts or half a box of Pot of Gold chocolates or a peanut butter sandwich. I couldn't sleep at night because my heart was beating so fast and my stomach hurt so much.... (view more)

Wassup ppl. How long do u think it would take to lose 50 pounds by eating 1200 calories and exersizing one hour a day? Reply pleez! I really need to know b-cuz I am starting it tomorrow.

Hi heather,I'm Hailey. How do u like this site so far. Oh, and here is some weight loss advice. Keep exersizing, drink water b-4 meals so u won't eat as much, cut meals in half and save the rest for later, don't eat after 7:00 pm, eat plenty of fruits and vegetables, cut back on the sugar and fat, and that's pretty much all I can think of. Wanna talk?

i relized i am only eating 790 calories a day...that means my motobolisim is going into starvation mode...if i eat 1000 calories a day will my motabolisim be normal or would i need to eat 1200??? hurry with replies im me at lilangelgrl0501...o this is what i have been eating...1 egg and 1 egg whit scrambeled...2 pieces of whole wheat toast and yogurt...strawberries...grilled chicken breast and white rice...what else should i add...i can't have vegitabels

Hey you guys...Man..I weighed in at 138 today..which is pretty good considering I was 147 to begin and then lost to 135.5 and gained up to 140 again.. but I think I might have gained a little back because of the way I overate today..But I just saw the most awesome thing on TV..It was on VH1 and it was about the celebrity diets and one that caught my eye was the raw food diet..It when you ony eat raw and uncooked like fruits veggies, nuts and seeds all that good stuff..and they say it just melts the pounds right off..that motivated me and I also want to be healthy..and i think it will help me acheive that too. Even though I ate a lot today I'm going to start new tomorrow and try this diet. I want it to be a lifestyle change..not just a diet..They say it makes your skin glow your motabolism speed up and everything..I'm really excited..wish me luck. later Chels
