Ht. 5'5", Today: 140 lb (BMI %tile: 90), Goal: 120 lb - Hi. I am 13 5'5 and weigh 140. This summer I want to loose 20 pounds. I would love it if some people could give me some tips on good diets, exercise or how they lost there extra weight. Today: 245 lb - Hey all! I love this site and am soooooo glad that my doctor recomended it to me...everyone is soooo nice and that's really encouraging...I am 15 years old and weigh 245 pounds, you guys have no idea how GOOD that feels to tell someone, I haven't told anyone FOREVER...I am starting a diet it's a Weight Watchers diet and I lost 35 pounds on it last time but gained that and more back so I am back to it and am gonna excercise mucho! I reall recomend that diet it's easy and fun and shhhh (the food is great!) And easy, like for dinner you could eat a Lean Quisine ( a tv dinner) any way, sorry for blabbering on..you all can E-mail me= pineapplepride88@aol.com see ya guys later! Hey everyone I really need some help. I just had knee surgery ( pretty painful ) and would like to start some light exersize. I have to start physical therapy in a week but I can't wait till then. You guys have nooo clue how hard it is to sit around all day and not do anything..even if you wanted too!! I recently went to the beach and couldn't even go in the water!! I could barely walk across the sand!! Anyways though, some helpful tips would be nice on diet and exersize. Thank you SO much. LOVE YA!! -Pebbles

Hello all! I'm 16 years old and according to the calculator I am 70 lbs. overweight. I try every diet I can get my hands or mouth on. I stick to the diets and excercise but nothing seems to work. I feel so bad being overwoeight and my physical body feels the pain literally . I have snapping hip syndrome and can't stand the pain. If someone would so generously email me some information or "secrets" of theirs' about weightloss I would appreciate it. Thankyou

Ht. 5'6", Today: 230 lb (BMI: 37) - This is my first time to this site, surely wouldn't be my last. I have always fought with my weight. Sorry Jane, but I have this policy where I don't help people lose weight who are at a healthy weight or underweight. Your BMI is 23.5; healthy range is about 19-25. If you want to get more "toned," that's fine - just start walking, doing calisthenics (situps/crunches, pushups, etc), but *don't* reduce your food intake. -James

hi every 1 im not overweight but i know wat ur goin trew as i used to be overweight. plz do some exersie join a club witch do lot of action in. i do trampolinin and was tld by my friends wen i started i lost loads of weight. try askin ur frends to help get tem to helpwhen ur hungry eat but wen ur bourd dont tat wont help if u get bourd do somethink. if ur not sure if ur bourd or hungry stop and think do i really wan't some think to eat. i wish u all good luck and hope u reach ur goal weight

Hey,thanx james for telling me all that stuff, appreciate it. hav u got a chart or sumthing? thanx anyway. and if uip sees this plz reply.the reason im msg is : to recommend KICKBOXING!!! im seriously hooked, kickboxing is badass!!!ive only had 4 classes. it teaches you strength speed, is a great workout and you learn self defence. when i finish my class im on such a high, really confident. and thats what counts right? its ok slogging it at da gym, doing weights or set or even worst da STATIONERY BIKE (personally pet hate there lol) but if you odnt enjoy it then whats the point? you end up getting bored and giving after a few weeks anyway!! so my advice is to literally go and find a sport that u honestly enjoy (eg KICKBOXING!!) lik swimming, or badminton. mite as well do sumthng that makes you feel good right?? c ya 'round shelly x
