For those of you who have lost weight cutting out sugar/carbs, I have some questions. First of all, I've done Atkins before and it does not allow fruit during the first few weeks. I can't stick to a diet like that, as it caused *ahem* problems with digestion. But I would like to try an alternative to low fat dieting.Anyway, my questions:1)Do you eat fruit? If so what kind, and how much?2)Do you have oatmeal, occasionally? 3)Do you feel you lose more quickly cutting out sugar/carbs than other methods of dieting (low-fat, low-calorie)?4)Just out of curiosity, how much have you lost over how long?Thanks for answering these question! I'm in desperate need of help! I've been crying alot lately because of my weight and my failed efforts at losing! I think I'm falling into depression again.

I lost 8 pounds since easter. I am now 5'4 and 152 pounds.I learned something last night at a dance. I learned that alot of boys don't care if I am overweight. I asked 7 boys to slowdance with me and 5 of them did. Also when I was club dancing a boy came up to me and started dancing with me and doing weird moves. My friend, Vincent and I started laughing and went along with it. Then the boys said "well thanks for letting me dance with you! You guys are great dancers!"

I did some research on the green tea thing and i actually was very impressed with what i saw. It apparently reduces the amount of simple carbs and fat that is absorbed into your body, thereby you only have a limited amount of simple carbs which is good cause they are the main enemy against losing weight, and the amount of fat, which is also brilliant. one more thing tho, are capsules better than tea bags? or are they both all good?

Can someone please help me? I'm 5'6 and weigh 147 lbs. i feel so fat and ugly all the time. My friends and parents tell me i'm not but when i look in the mirror i see myself as being obese. I get all A's on my report card, but i'm always extemely nervous. Sometimes i have to leave class b/c im so nervous that i cry. Does anyone know if this is weight associated? Please gaive me ur imputs =(

hey, I think that something is wrong with me. for about the past month a have been on a diet. I hardly ever drink pop, or other high clarie DRINKS OR FOOD! YET, at first, I lost about 4 pounds in the first week. THen, even though I still am exercising and eating right, I gained it back!!!!What is wrong with me? i need a lot of tips on weight loss

I am from NYC so i am at the center of the world. I have been around the most beautiful people in the world and the ugliest- the thinnest and the fattest. ok ppl i have a few tips on how u guys can lose weight. i want to congratulate all of u for making it a goal to lose weight. Its not easy but in the end it will be all worth it. i'm not overweight but here are the tips. Number 1. Be aware of what u drink. Its amazing how many extra calories are in sodas, juices, and other drinks. Cutting out soda completely can save u 360 calories or more each day. Avoid diet sodas too, the artificial sweeteners are probably not good for you snf they tend to make some people hungry.Drink a lot of water (duh!) Switching from whole to nonfat or low fat milk is also a good idea, or switching to soy milk is even a better idea... (Click here to see rest of message).
