hey ! I know its long but dont hate me for that..........I've never really thought of myself as being fat, just a little overweight. But then it got to me and i noticed it. Im 17 years old and almost off to college. when i hed for college i want to be skiny but its really hard for me to loose weight since i have a little sister who is always bringing in junk food to the house and i cant help it and I take some also I have a skinny older brother who does the same thing. I recently (february 15,2005) lost my sister who was a year younger than me. Doctors said she died of lupus,bacteria in the blood and from being moderetly obesse. so that scares me and I would like to losse atleast 50 pounds i am 5'4 and weight atleast 200 pounds so it will be really good for me to acomplish a goal not only for me but for my sister.If anyone has any suggestions please help.ive been looking at pilotas but dont know yet. thanx

ok first ive lost the title of anti-hocolate lola cos lent is over but anyway i have all the easter eggs. Does anyone have any advice on how not to eat them??

Yay!!! I'm now in the 140's. I hit 149 at my weigh in this morning. I havent been in the 140's for 3 years!!! Woo hoo! 10 pounds untill my goal!!! Good Luck Everyone.

hey guys like most other people i had a bad weekend but that isnt gonna stop me from losing this weight because it aint the end of the world i have 18 pounds to go to get to my goal weight(116) i weigh my self every month because then i dont see the water weight from my period. im wondering if yall have any tips for eating because i need high carb but healthy because im a runner and i need energy to burn energy and yeah but if i eat bad carbs then i gain weight and it does nothing for my energy. well id love some help and i was wondering is anyone else a runner i try and run a min of two miles a day and a max of maybe 10. in the summer when i have more time on my hands im gonna run a flat rate of 10 a day and average at seventy miles a week if any one wants to be my running buddie like we just discuss what we do daily and how much we run and just every day things it doesnt have to be... guys, i just want to let you know, trying to stavre yourself (skip meals) won't help you lose weight. believe me,eventually you'll hafta cave in and eat more than you normally would. instead drink a tall glass of water before each meal to fill you up some so that youre less likely to eat as much (and it'll help your digestion/metabolism too!). you can't forget excercise. and never cheat and say you'll make up for it double time tomorrow then eventually blow it off. youre only cheating yourself. and keep confident! excercising makes you feel good! youre on youre way to a better you, dont be afraid to flaunt a weight loss. it'll inspire you to lose even more. you can do it!

ive put on at least 3 lbs recently and i can see my weight creeping back up, its making me depressed so ive got to do something about it. im going to try and find things to keep me busy becasue i constantly eat even when im not hungry. i can do it once so i can do it again! does anyone have any advice on how you can stop yourself eating even when ur not hungry? ive tried gum and that didnt work :( please help! xxx

hey guys. i completly pigged out this weekend and i feel horrible about it. i did great today... but even after 2 days of binging.. my stomach looks horrible and it looks like i've gained 10 pounds. so basically i just ruined my progress when i could have just said no to the food.

well today i was supposed to start counting my claories i was gonna eat 1,416 cause thats how much a website said i shouold eat to lose weight but when i woke up i had breakfast which was 620 calories almost half of the calories i should of ate today but i know im goin over cause i didnt even eat easter dinner yet well i guess ill start tomorrow (yeah right i allways say that) Love Chelsea

Hi, this is my 1st time here. I am 15 and used to weigh 165 lbs., but know i weigh 145. I'm having a very hard time looseing more. The way I lost 20 lbs. is by giving meat up for lent. I think im going to continue not eating meat and become a vegetarian. Does anyone have any tips on becoming a vegetarian or a vegan?

I know, im sorry, this is my third post in a row-- But i want to make my goals heard to everyone! Ok, Im 17 middle sized frame and tall, 5'9". When i started coming here i weighed 76kg(167lbs) and it took me a looooooong time to start doing something other then giving advice. But now with the good weather i have no excuse, thats why i went running this evening. anyway, my goal is to get down to 60kg(132) sometime soon. I figure i can manage that in a few months. So thats a total goal of 16kg or like 35lbs. Ive lost 2 so far, so Im at 74kg! Yay. SO now you all know! Lots of love, and to all you, i totally wouldnt have started any of this without you!!! THANKS SO MUCH!

OMG!!!! i just got on the scale for the first time since the middle of Lent, so that was like 3 weeks ago, and Ive lost 2 kilos!!! Thats like 4.5 or so pounds!! haha, you have NO IDEA how happy i am. I have NEVER in all my diet and exercise history actually seen weight loss!!! YAY!!! soo happy. Ok, i just got back from my jog, I was out for 45 minutes, and i found a nice route to take. I alternated between jogging and walking, but i didnt stop at all, cept once to check out a really long worm (it had been raining before :) ) . It felt so good, cuz even though I was all sweaty and tired out and my calfs hurt, i know it it good for me!! Omg, so now, i dont feel so scared, after loosing 2 kilos, my goal of 15 really doesnt seem that big, espeically now cuz im gonna do this jogging thing! HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE!!!
