This place is sort of a last hope for me, because I'm getting pretty desperate. I've been at least a little overweight for most of my life, but it started getting really bad when I was ten or eleven. I've always sort of comforted myself by saying things like: oh, you're not that big, and at least you aren't two hundred pounds. Then I hit two hundred and it became: Well, at least you're not two fifty. And then I hit that too. I'm afraid that I'll just gradually get bigger and bigger until I'm twenty five and barely able to walk. I really need to make a change, because my self confidence is nearly non existent and it's having huge negative impacts on my life. I'm in a play, and I have a 2 hour dance class every Saturday for it. Will just simply doing the dancing every Saturday help me get more fit? Or would I have to make a lot more changes?

i am 14 i weigh 210 pounds i want to weigh 150 or less than that so i can do better stuff like i like to dance a lot but when i do i feel stupid because i overweight so any one have some details for by putting it on the bulletin board i have tried almost everything

I used to lovee soda but im used to not drinking it anymore...but its still the other things i cant get used to stop eating...like fried foods and junk food...and i cant do the eat it but just in small portions cause it never works for.....so can anybody tell me how you can stop eating this kinda stuff??? are lunchables bad?? i know some are..but what about just like a pizza lunchable with no candy? 290 cals, 25% calcium! is this okay for lunch with some fruit??

theres more 2 life than losing weight. if ur obsessed with it then chances r u wont lose it. i have been trying to lose w8 since i was like 13 n havent done it now i hve stopped obsessing ova it n just bein happy i have lost ova a dress size with just cutting down and being more active but nt exercising rlly- just goin out more. ne wayz laterzz

Hello everyone, how are you? I am fine, I am so worried thought! Sasha has been losing rapid weight loss and she is doing it the healthy way, like she excersises for 1 hr a day and eats about 1300 calories a day! she lost 8 pounds this week! is there something wrong? Like is this unhealthy for her?

So I haven't weighed myself for 5 days, and I know you should only do it once a week, so I am waiting until Sunday. The thing is I don't have a scale. =\ So I usually use my friends or when I weighed myself last Sunday there were 3 scales at London Drugs and I got the same weight on two of them so I just took those as my weight. But how much is a scale usually??? And if there is a cheap one will it work just the same?? Thanks in advance =)

hey, i'm 5'5 and 180.. my diet usually consists of a bowl of cereal in the mornning, a school lunch, i get home eat a bowl of cereal, eat dinner, and maybe like a snack of 3-5 cookies.. on June 7th i'm going on vacation to mexico, and i definetly dont want to be stick thin, which i dont think is possible for me anyways, but ofcours im a a 14 year old girl and i wanna look good! haha, or at least decent.. so can you guys please give me some tips to losing weight? ive been trying for a year now, and please just give me all the advise you can.. what should i eat and what to do for exersise.. thanks sweets.. <3danielle
