How do you get "love handles" to go away? I heard diet and exersize is all you can do..but my exersizes aren't targeting that area. Do sit ups work? What other exersizes do you know?

Hello....
I was looking up stuff online and Some how I came across this web-site.. It's something I really need though... WE'll i'm 14 and I have a problem with my weight.. I was doing so we'll on my diet I got down to 140 ish and Then I started geting stressed with school, family, and life so now i'm up to 174 ish! It hurts really bad.. I have a problem talking infront of people.. I donn't feel good about my self.. Weh nI started losing weight I got out off that, but now its worse than ever.. I feel horriable again.. I feel that being over weight is making me depressed and taking away from my life.. people say I can't lose weight because I dont ret.. thats not it at all.. If you guys could help me, and tell me what I could eat and give me advice I'd feel alot better.. hey guys! so this is what i ate today; breakfast: a bowl of cereal and a half of a luna bar, lunch: an apple, a plate of salad, then when i came home i ate another bowl of cereal, some chicken and string beans ... its alot of cereal (carbs) i kno, but other than that do you think it was okay? what could i eat instead? thanks soo much!

I am 14 and I am fat I weigh 240lbs.I know its way too much. I have strench marks on my arms and body. I am so embassed because I can not wear a bathing suit in front of pplor a tank top. I wish there was an easier way to lose weight. I can't go on a diet because i end up just giving up and when i clothes shop there is nothing pretty in my size just old lady stuff...so please help me!!!!!

MAN OH MAN, YESTERDAY I ATE SERIOUSLY AROUND 5000 CALS AND I JUST CAN'T STOP. I FEEL LIKE I DID BAD TODAY, BUT I GUESS I DIDN'T...BREAKFAST-GRAPES, LUNCH-100 CAL PACK, YOGURT, CARROTS SNACK-ORANGE, POPCORN, TEA...DINNER-SOMETHING HEALTHY. I WALKED 25 MINS AND IM GOING TO THE GYM AND IM GONNA RUN ON THE TREADMILL, SO I DIDN'T DO BAD, RIGHT?

Today's my birthday! I'm finally 19. As expected, I didn't do very good with my diet today, I pretty much pigged out, people kept giving me sweets. :( There's always tomorrow, right? Have a good day everyone.

today i ate a smart ones frozen breakfest, a turkey sandwish on a wheat roll, a pria bar, grapes, yogurt (vanilla low fat) did i do ok.? didnt excersice.didnt have time.

I'm 13 years old and weight 251 lbs....I eat because I love food and whenever i try to lose weight i just end up eating more because i miss all the foods. and its not like i eat good food either, i eat chips, cookies, candy, soda, that stuff. everyone in my school is like really thin and when i go to school i feel so bad because i'm so fat. and when i stand next to my friends i look even fatter cuz they're all thin.

hey! how did i do today? breakfast-grapes, lunch-yogurt, 100 cal pack, carrots. snack-popcorn (no butter) orange, dinner-lean cuisine (turkey, stuffing, baked apples-270 cals) then i had more grapes. i think it adds up to about 1200 cals in all, i also had a couple bites of granola bar. i ran 4 miles and lifted weights. how did i do?

i just have to be the stupidest person... i rejoined weight watchers and thought this would be the time.but my first week has been so hard. ive had so many slip ups. i had a twix today. i ate a donut the other day. i had sour patch kids the other day... its just so hard for me to keep willpower. i really have to stick to it tuesday wednesday and thursday if i dont want to be up when thursday nights weighin comes. im exercising like crazy for the next 2 days... hope it works

you know what this board needs? i think it needs people who were overweight and lost weight and have a normal weight, that way we can talk to someone who's had success and who can give us tips on how we could lose weight. lol its just my opinion....

hey just wanted to say hey you know :) havent posted much because i havent been doing to good but i have something nice to eat that u lt probably dont like though. You know you get those cardboard cracker things callled rivita? well i eat those with low fat cheese and onion spread sometimes and i think its really nice :)
