Ht. 5'5'', Wt. 160 - Hay there everyone ive posted on thi site a few times before..mostly replies though. I have decided i need to change my mom has been on a diet for awhile and is doing great i am so proud of her and thats when i decided i need to try aswell. I am 14 years old and in june i will be graduating grade 8. I am proud of myself for getting this far and now if i can just lose this weight i will be extremely happy. My goal is to lose 20 pouds or more by june 22nd 2006 wich is the day of my graduation. I want to buy a beautifull dress. More things to know.... I am pretty tall and i guess you could say i carry my weight well because i dont look at all what i weigh,,but its the way i feel. on June 24th i will be going on a trip to Italy and i want to look good by the time i go there. Ht. 5'2, Wt. 140 lbs. - For at least a year now, I've known that I need to lose weight. My problem is not having time to exercise. I have so many activities after school that are inactive and take up time(piano, sewing, horseback riding). I really don't like sports, and my face always turns BRIGHT red when i work out, so I don't like working out with a lot of other people. My parents won't let me go on walks by myself and it's hard to get a hold of one of my friends to go with. Any workout suggestions for me? I think I might take some golf lessons this spring, but thats not very active either. : ( I want to join a local gym but i'd be embarrased if i saw someone i knew. I'm trying to eat healthy. Is it okay to have a little bit of something bad for you occasionally? Today I couldn't resist and ate a hershey kiss. Thanks so much!

Ht. 5'7, Wt. TMI - Hey Everyone. I posted yesterday, but couldnt make it back on to read any replies. So, I am going to reply now. Thx to the people who replied and congradulated me on graduating-lol-. FOR JUELZ: it took me about the whole month 2 lose the 10 pounds, I started at the beggining of may, but messed up then I seriously started March 2nd. I weighed myself once a week, and the pounds were going slow, it was about 2 pounds gone the week after I started and then about that much all the other times. And yah I really didnt exercise. But I am like really big, so I think any change in my diet will do some improvement- b/c im bigger I start off losing more faster, if I included exercise and was persistent I know I could have lost a lot! Ht. 5'6'', Wt. 160 - girls, i have a question...you know when you have ur . you really really want CHOCOLATE?? like i have to have at least one thing chocolate every day for 3-4 days, is this bad? its not a lot, just like a small bowl of chocolate icecream or like a chocolate chip cookie, but will this make me gain weight??

Ht. 5'6, Wt. 170 - ok today i had a turkey and cheese sandwich on wheat bread with some pretzels and then a breaded chicken breast patty on wheat bread and an apple. how do u think i did b/c i feel like i did really bad b/c of the chicken patty but the box said it only had 180 calories. My parents and all of my friends are completely fit, I am the total outcast compared to them. I wanted to change my image. Eat only what is necessary, you need an AVERAGE breakfast (i.e. Banana, ONE bowl of cereal, apple, etc.) 2. Avoid eating after 7:00 P.M. 3. Look around your school, see the people there, but dont get discouraged, BE INSPIRED to be like them! 4. Never EVER give up! YOU WILL LOSE THE WEIGHT! 5. Check your weight every morning, not night. 6. Find alternatives to eating! When you get hungry after a meal, go outside instead! You may think you're hungry, but you are probably just wanting to taste something good. Try bubble gum, and drink water! I believe that you too can have success in losing weight! I have dropped from an XL shirt to a large, and TWO inches off my waist IN ONE MONTH after I /TRULY, REALLY/ believed I could do it! YOU CAN DO THE SAME! :D (view less)
