Ht. 5'6", Start: 215 lb, Today: 209 lb, Goal: 150 lb - I don't know why i'm having such a difficult time losing weight this time around! this is the healthiest i've ever eaten and i've been working out consistently for over a month! what's going on? i don't understand...i'm so annoyed- i'd give up but i really want to get there within a year and look great and feel great. plus i know that i am getting healthier even if not thinner. but still...i really want to be thinner too! i've been eating 1500 calories/day- 5-8 servings of fresh fruits and veggies. i don't eat much meat anymore- i've been eating soy hot dogs a lot which hae a lot less calories but same amoutn fo protein, and grains- and usually one bad treat a day like a serving of m and m's or something- which i'm trying to phase out. i've been walking/biking to work which is three miles one way- six, of course, if i walk both ways- which i sometimes do. i've been doing cardio on the... Ht. 5'3", Start: 155 lb, Today: 155 lb, Goal: 123 lb - O.K.A.Y. this is my first post on here. im starting highschool on august 13 2008 and i would really love it if i can go shopping for awesome clothes and not be ashamed to wear them. (like avril lavigne is coming out with a new clothing line called Abbey Dawn on like July 20 or something and it would be friggen sweat if i would wear it!) but yeah so i am a strict vegetarian these days. i also dont eat bread and cows milk. NO JUNK WHAT SO EVER!!! i eat just basic stuff.
soy milk.
oatmeal.
no fat yogurt.
beans.
brown rice.
corn tortillas.
all the vegetables and fruit in the world!!!!!!
yummy. i love it. i also excersice of coarse.
oh and dont forgete to drink PLENTY of water.

Ht. 5'8", Start: 225 lb, Today: 173 lb, Goal: 150 lb - im getting serious this time. im so close yet feel so far, but by July 1st i would reallllly like to be 165. then ill finally be in a healthy weight range and wouldn't be considered overweight anymore. thats my main goal, then the rest is just to be right smack in the middle of a healthy weight range. ahh i want this so badly. i feel and look great now compared to before, but i want to look my absolute best and be healthy. we can do it! :)

No one ever makes fun of me but I feel like it's disgusting. I am so ready to make a change now. I'm not going to starve myself but I am going to make myself start a healthy life style. Ht. 5'2", Start: 238 lb, Today: 235 lb, Goal: 198 lb - hello! i wanted to share my story. well my doctor told me i have to lose twenty pounds. she gave me some pointers about making the right choice in food such as instead of eating white bread eat wheat and about portion control. I was really motivated. I am really motivated i've tried numerous times to diet but this time i realize its about making the right choices such as instead of having a donout as a snack each day have two mini chocolate kisses or friutistopdrinking soda. i also stopped eating fried foods and everyday i go walking for 30 min-1 hour so far i've lost 3 pounds my first week. i'm sooo excited by changing my eating habits and lifestyle to being healthy. wish me luck!

Ht. 5'8", Start: 330 lb, Today: 280 lb, Goal: 150 lb - Well, I really want to go into the navy. I filled out some forms. Haha, knowing me they called...and asked my weight.
I am really scared now. I have a meeting with the guy, and I am morbidly obese. I am scared I am going to be rejected. I have a year to lose the weight and whatnot...before bootcamp.

Ht. 5'8", Start: 225 lb, Today: 173 lb, Goal: 150 lb - hey guys, hope everyone is doing good. well i keep doing really well then screwing up at the end of the day, and i have had nooo motivation to work out. but whats exciting is that ten pounds ago, i bought these track pants and they were super tight, now when i walk they fall down. its annoying but im happy about it lol but i still cant wait til im in the 160s. im getting sooo close, only 23 more pounds til my goal. but then again i dunno how ill look at that weight so if i get down to 155 or 160 and look good ill stay there. but if i get to 150 and can stand to lose another 5 pounds id like to do that cause ive always wanted to be in the 140s lol anyways good luck everyone, we can do this. its hard but we can make it

This always happens as soon i start to lose some weight, i just want it off quicker and quicker and when it doesnt i feel so bad. Ive lost 15lbs since the end of march but it feels like ive not lost any weight for a while as that weight came off really quick and now im losing really slow. People are starting to say things like 'you're losing weight' and 'you're getting a lot thinner' but i dont feel any thinner at all =[ From now on im going to try my hardest to weigh in just once a week as i think that will help me stay on track for the whole week, its just so hard though cos im completely obsessed with the scale, seriously i weigh myself numerous times per day! Hope you guys are doing better than me!
