i'm doing great today. i kind of feel bad for my little sister though. we don't have the type of relationship where i can help her lose weight and tell her to maybe not eat so much but she's getting pretty big. in the spring i told her that if she got a little more fit then i'd jog with her but i also don't want her to slow me down- but i'll see how it goes when the time rolls around. i tried on one of her pairs of size 11 pants and they fit me really well. they're cool pants too- but i already told myself that i'm not going to try and borrow them from her because it'll make her feel bad. well- i told myself that i was going to be 135 by march 13th but that's coming up really soon and i don't think i'll be able to do it. i'm going to work really hard though and be around 140 i think. i can't wait until i can fit into my 2 pairs of size 9 pants really comfortably. i can put them on but they don't look good on me- but i'm working on it. got to go- marty's here for lunch! sorry for blabbing so much! good luck everybody!

Wow...I'm older than all of you. But I have the same problem: weight. And, yes to the one who posted about the atkin's diet being dangerous. It's dangerous because you can get protien blockage/build-up in your liver and it can cause a lot of damage and can also cause gall stones and stuff like that. (Just so everyone knows...I'm about 100 lbs. overweight.) I know how to lose the weight....I just need something to motivate me. GOOD LUCK TO ALL OF YOU.

How to Rev Up Your Metabolism*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~Don't skip breakfast. You will lose weight more quickly if you have a bite to eat in the morning. ----Do at least thirty minutes of cardiovascular exercise, five days a week. This will condition you to burn fat more efficiently. -------Don't deprive your body of carbohydrates, no matter what they say. You need carbs for energy and will feel terrible without them. -------Wear a pedometer and see that you take 1,000 steps every day. ------If you have a sit-down job, get up every hour and walk around for five minutes or so. ------Dedicate two hours a week to weight training, concentrating on the larger muscles. Every other day is optimal. --------
