Ht. 5'5", Wt. 200ish lbs - I've been overweight for a long time.My new year's revolution is to lose 50 lbs.That would put me at 150-155 lbs.I am already muscular, so that is a good weight for me.I'd say I have 10-20 lbs of muscle right now, and by then I'd probly have even more. I've been eating ok in December.I've been drinking an avergae of 4 bottles of 16 oz water, which is right on. I've been exercizing off and on, but in January, I'm going to exercise everyday.How much cardio should a person be doing?I usually do 20 minutes, is that enough?I also weight lift.I am very strong in the upperbody, but I need to workout my lowerbody.Does anyone know any exercises that I can do with weights (not squats, i dont want to mess up my knee again.i injured it playing hockey last year), so does anyone no any lowerbody exercises?I can eat... Ht. 5'3'', Wt. 135 - My cousin and i go to the same school (shes standing right behind me right now) and were both kind of overweight. We have a lot of friends at school, but they all have perfect bodies and boyfriends. It runs in our family to be kinda big so its really hard to lose weight. we are trying to eat healthy and excercise, but the other day we were standing in the lunch line talking to our friends and this guy in front of us made a really mean fat joke at us. Ht. 5'6, Wt. N:270 Mid: 170 G:140 - HEY EVERYONE, has everyone set their New Years Resolutions? I have, I have actually set a couple, the first is to have lost about 30 pounds by March and by July in total I want to have lost 70 and by and 40 or 50 more pounds by December-January. Broken down thats 100 to around 110 pounds in total. And me and my diet buddy KRISSY, she posts on this site also, we are going to start eating alot healthier and for exercise we are doing DDR, dance dance revolution for PS2 or GameCube...alot of my friends that were overweight like me have shown drastic results from dieting and exercising with DDR, DDR is not only a workout, you can dance and have fun with it. I hope everyone else has set their new years resolutions for a healthy 2006 lol...adios!

Ht. 5'7, Wt. 375 - Hey Everyone, Ok, I need help with some exercise concerns. First, does anyone know what a stair stepper or stair master is? I have stairs in my house, is it the same as stepping back in forth up 1 or 2 stairs? Ht. 5'6'', Wt. 199 - I know that to lose weight you're supposed to eat healthy, but both of my parents are very overweight and they still pig out and eat fast food A LOT! There is not any healthy food in our house and my parents won't buy it because they think I won't eat it. We do have a treadmill and I go on it every day for 2 miles and I do 100 sit ups, but after eating fast food is that enough?

Ht. 5'6, Wt. 185 - Hey, y'all! Please continue to respond to my other post as well, but here's a tip: When you get a craving, try hewing some SUGAR-FREE gum! The flavor lasts much longer, and you can chew it after you brush your teeth. I always find that usually when I crave food, I usually just crave chewing something. When I chew gum, that craving goes away. So chew gum and drink water, and GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!
