Hi i am 5 ft 3 in. and i weigh 140. It is mostly in my thighs and stomach area. I wish to make it smaller, but dread the thought of leaving behind the foods that i love. I am willing to stop snacking as long as i don't have to give up any certain type of food. I eat when i am bored. i don't have any problems with excersing, but i hate the outdoors. My overeating didn't start until i learned how to stress. I need to know ways to lose weight and excercise with out wanting to give up after the first day. That is what usually happens i want to give up after one day . Please i need major advice

Even if I do eat 2000 calories a day, if I excersize more can I? I love to eat, so a strict diet isn't good for me. Thanks

ok as of this morning i weighed in at 183 which is great for me I am down 2 pounds from 185 and I feel great I dont think its water weight either cuz like it took forever for those to come off. All I do is not focus on food and eating so much and get other things in my life straightened out and stuff and go on a 10 mile bike ride everyday in the morning just to ride and think I feel that I really just need to get other things in my life under control and not sooo stressful so all I am goin to do is be active more then I normally am and then I am goin to just eat whut I want and when I am hungry and when i am bored and feel like eating ill try and do something else and same with being upset and stuff. Man oh man do i need help!! see i'm 4'11 and 147 pounds short and chunky!and like i always say i'm gunna change my eating habits and exercise everyday and like i do good the 1st week and like i stop and give up! i'll be a sophomore this year and i want a change for myself i atleast would like to be 120 thats my goal weight i don't wanna be the fat girl n e more and its so depressing i cry all the time but i still eat so much! if n e one can give me some tips on how they lost weight and help me leave a relpy or email me at and thanks to n e one who leaves a reply or emails me! I figured out why i am so overweight because im unhappy andi eat i'm unhappy because im growing up with out a dad and i'm being forced to see him, I have been doing things i nomallywouldn't have done like tried smoking thew stuff in someone's car , shop lft if anyone knows any online cat rooms i could tal in please let me know.Thanx.

I ate 3/4 of a gallon of cookies n cream icecream and a lot of pretzels and 3 microvable mac n cheeses I was doin ok 4 a while but then things have been going on in my family and i get depressed and eat :(

god today i got upset cuz my dad called and was threatening to call the police to make me go with him tonight since i didnt want to go and i was cryin for like 30-60 mins and i was almost hyperventalating and I was just so scared and didnt no whut to do and was depressed i was hitting myself thorwing things and of course whut i hate is eating and now i feel bad even my 2 10 mile bike rides that burned 772 cals didnt help me any and I hate it and feel that I need to do something and I just feel like hurting myself i was hitting my self earlier cuz i was sooo upset and then i read this journal my mom started when i was 16 months and enede it like 2 years later and I was just really upset and it had stuff bout my cousin who died and my cousin who moved to chicago and havent seen in a while and I just wish everything would get better I hate my life and I am constantly eatin when i get... Help :(I just can't stay on track... I ate soooooo much the past few days, even when I am not hungry I have been eating tons of food. I gained back a few pounds... I started at 236, then I lost 9 pounds but now i'm back to 231 :( :( :(It's just so much harder during the summer, I could do wayyyyyy better during the school year, because I don't eat at school. (nothing about my weight I just feel like an animal if i eat with too many people) anyway! hopefully I can stop pigging out, all the yummy food leftover from our 4th of july party is almost gone. When i vist friends, parties, barbeques and other places where junk and unhealthy choices are avaibale, I'm usually faced with the descidon to eat or well, not to eat. Some say only have just a slice of that cake, or only have one piece of pizza, but my problem is that if i have that one slice of cake, next thing i know im having another one, and another one and yet another one. If your like me and feel that once you've had the junk food you might as well have more- lsiten to this. There are two types of feelings when it comes to food- craving the food and then the inital guilt that comes after overindulging. Now both feelings are uncomfotable and hard to deal with, but you have to think about which one is more positive, obvisouly the craving. OK PEOPLE a little dose of reality. We are board,or depressed, or whatever and so we eat. Then we get fatter. when we get fatter we feel more depressed so we eat more. We then get even fatter! It is a circle that most of us have, and most of us will and most of us can GET OUT OFF. I for one am tired of being a statisic in some scientific study about the percentage of currantly obese and overweight teens!! Everyone, I KNOW that you can DO this if you try!! Remember, depression is not the answer and gets us nowhere!! Will-power and strength provide us with the grounds for acheviment!!! Lets show those statistics whose boss!!! WE SHALL OVERCOME!!! ok u guys i have discovered that i usually eat when i am bored so how can i stop this and become skinny and stuff like that so just wondering how i could do this and stuff like that but its ok if no one nos cuz i dont think i can do it either so maybe i should just give up and forget all bout my goals and stuff dang i suck at this and I will never get to my goal i guess u could say i have given up :( well by and good luck maybe ill still be on here tryin to help others but for me i just dont feel like i can do it any more, buhbye and see ya later
