Today: 192 lb, Goal: 150 lb - I remember when i was in 3rd grade and our teacher would weigh the students in front of the class and it would be my turn. i was the biggest kid in class and everyone would laugh at me. i was 9 years old and already 100 lbs. i remember i wouldn't eat at lunch. i remember each year after that i swore to myself and to my family i was not going to be fat anymore. i was going to change and become smaller no matter how hard it was. 6yrs later i am 15 and weigh 192 lbs. i don't know when i started gaining weight. i suppose it was when i started school. guess i could sue them huh? out of all my friends i am the fattest. i am in ap(advanced placement) classes and have a diverse personality and i get along with anyone who gives me a chance. but you see i am 15 almost 16 and i am becoming a young woman and i am starting to want that other person in my life to complete me, however guys today only want 36-24-36 and that is not me.I have tried slim fast, weight watchers, atkins, no sugar diets, no carb diets, vegtable diets, exercise and nothing seems to work. i know i have a slow metabolism and therefore i must excercise double but i should have seen some results right? i know i am very muscular and big framed for a girl but i still have fat in parts of my body(stomach, inner thigh, under my upper arm) and i am not sure why that won't go away. i would like to loose 40 lbs and be around 150, and go from wearing size 16/18 to 11/13 if possible, so i am asking any one who has lost a significant amount of weight and knows they can help me please reply to this or email me @ thank you for reading my story and possibly helping me. i can't do this without help!

wow- you and i sound a lot alike. not so much physically as we are personality wise though. it sounds like you're working very hard but you need to be more consistant. i can tell you haven't been too overly consistent with one thing becasue you've tried so many but you need to pick one thing and stick to it very strictly- at least for a while. you won't see any results if you donb't stick to it long enough. and secondly you might need to raise the intensity of your workouts you might not be burning enough calories even though it seems like you're doing everything humanly possible. if this is the case i suggest you get something like taebo for a work out and very closely monitor your calorie intake- whatever is in your mouth and down your throat record it. good luck! i hope you do well and sorry for being so rash but try and look at everything and don't feel defensive because it's for yourself.

I used to get teased a lot in school because I was short (5'0). It is important that you "don't confuse body image with self image" Dr.Phil. If you are overweight that doesn't make you any less of a person. Being confident really helped me loose weight. when I was pregnant I weighed 185 pounds now I weigh 130. Here are some exersizes that helped me. Do squats for your thighs (I do them inbetween comercial breaks:) For the extra flab under your upper arm try holding your arm up in the air. Then bend your arm so that your palm touches your back right below your shoulder. Straighten your arm and bend it again. If you do it 10 times it will burn, but that only means its working. Do it 20 times each arm at least twice a day. Let me know what happens!

Hi there! I can relate to your story! I was always the biggest girl in my class. Then finally, at 11 I weighed 155. That was the most depressing thing ever! So, I decided to go on WeightWatchers. It was great! I have never really been into exercising and with weightwatchers it's not necessary. Within the first week I lost 5 lbs, and before I knew it I had lost 25 lbs. Im still 130 and have kept the weight off for a year. I know you can do it! Best of luck in everything!
