Ht. 5'8", Start: 330 lb, Today: 323 lb (BMI %tile: 98), Goal: 170 lb - Well in order to reach my goal weight I must lose over 100 pounds. So far I have been doing the calorie diet and I've lost 7 pounds. Its really hard for me and frustrating because I dont know which diet to do! Ive been told that the low card, low fat, and low calorie diets are best, but with so many options I dont know which one to choose. Im getting really discouraged and could use some help ASAP! if you have ANY and i mean ANY advice for me please let me know.-OMI

Congrats on the 7 pound weight loss!! My first piece of advice would be not to call it a diet! Diets have an end and in order to lose the weight and keep it off you have to make it a lifestyle. As to what/how you eat watch everything! From what I have noticed is all of the low carb, low fat and low calorie "diets" all point in the same direction, they want you to eat a lot of fruits, veggies and lean meats. When you are shopping for pasta or bread buy whole grain. Another important thing is portion size, this was the hardest for me personally. But, I think the most important advice I can give is to not completely give up the things you love. One of my favorite foods is cheese, so instead of depriving myself I just started buying reduced fat cheese. Little changes like that will keep you satisfied and help you continue on your weight loss journey. I hope that I was able to help, good luck :)
