Ht. 5'3, Wt. 216 - Hi everyone. I have a really big thanksgiving dinner coming up. Alot of the teenage girls in my family are thin and I feel as if I am the fat one being looked at i'm in a size 19 /20 and I want to were these size 17 jeans I just got from the mall. What is a healthy way to eat ? Like what should I eat for breakfast lunch dinner that will help me loose enough for my family get together. Please help.....

WOW! You sound exactly like me, same height, and I used to weigh 218 and I wore about a 19, and I am 17 years old too!!! Also, I want to lose weight before I go to a family get together thing too, just after Thanksgiving!!! I only have 4 cousins in all, and just one is a girl and a year younger than me, and she is thin too, and tall, which my family takes great pride in.....:( So I TOTALLY understand where you are coming from! Here's what I try to do: eat 1200 cals a day, and workout for half an hour 6 times a week. But I have cheated, so in the past 9-10 weeks, I have lost 14 pounds, instead of my hopeful 25.....Anyways, I advise to try it, cause even though I haven't lost that fast, I have lost and it is well worth it! hey.. just wanted you to know you aint alone.. all my cousins are skinny well except one and she may be joining the site soon. I wish I had more to tell ya but work hard.. Keep truckin- Megan
