Ok you guys I really need your help. I try to cut down on my calorie intake, but it just deos'nt work, I manage it throughout the day then at night time I go and eat loads-chocolate, cake, hanfuls of cereal. I want to know how I can cut down on my calorie intake, and I'm sorry to say eating more at the beginning of the day does not work for me. So what should I do, how do I cut down my calorie intake and not feel hungry? I do quite a bit of excersise or well at least I try. So can you please help me. Greatly appreciated God bless Lola

i had the same problem. yep- about that nighttime selfcontrol, huh? well- i started to be more lenient during the day with what i ate and just because super strict with what i ate at night. you know that if you start eating those things then you won't be able to stop at a time that good for your calorie intake- so just don't eat them at all until you know that you can do it. be very strict for a while then buy a candy bar to test yourself. only eat 1/3rd of the bar then put the rest away for the 1/3 the next day and then another 1/3rd for the day after. good luck! i know what trouble that is!

I started doing the very same thing when I was 13 and weighed 190 lbs. at night when I was in my room studying I would eat like crazy. I always made sure to keep a box of goodies hidden in my closet and I would have loads of Little Debbies and cookies and chocolate bars. After my mom would go to sleep I would sneak into the kitchen and get a big bowl of ice cream. Now I am 15 and I am at 340 lbs but I'm happy because I met a boyfriend last summer and he has never said anything about my size. He likes me for who I am and that makes all the difference. I feel happy about myself and beauty comes in all sizes! I still have my box of goodies in my room but I don't hide it in my closet anymore. because I enjoy eating at night and I don't feel ashamed anymore about my weight. I have more friends now then I did when I was 13 and it's because I feel confident about myself instead of being shy.

You could do something like play cards or do your nails... anything that keeps your hands moving. If you absolutly can't help it you could always just dont keep any junk food at all in your house... that way you can't eat it.
