Ht. 5'4", Today: 155 lb (BMI %tile: 89) - I'm a new "blubber buster". (I'm not quite sure if i like that name. Isn't it funny how we have to be politically correct about overweight people too?but thats another topic.) Anyways, i'm 5'4 and I weigh in at 155. I've been that weight for about five years. Once during that time i got down to 145 by walking an hour everyday, and only eating veggies. It worked too, because i lost it all in like two weeks. but the problem is now that i don't have and hour and a half to walk anymore, and i need protein. I was wondering if you had any suggestions. I have been "eating healthy" for a year, but no matter how many calories i drop everyday, nothing happens. I think right now i'm down to like 1000 cal a day. So any suggestions would help a ton! Thanks!

then get a good cardio work out tape that'll only take a half hour to complete like tae-bo or something. we all have time for exersize no matter how busy our schedule is. granted- probably not enough time for an hour and a half but you can get even more benefits from just a 30 min. cardio tape. try waking up a half hour early or doing it right before bed. good luck! i know how that weight feels- right now i'm 5'5" and 153 pounds...

and im 5'4 also, but i weigh 131lbs...i used to weigh 155 though. you have to eat breakfest also...watch how many carbs you eat. drink at least 8 cups of water a day.

you shouldn't go below 1200 calories a day becuase it slows you metabolism down.
