Here is my advice. There are alot of diets out there. And ALL of them work. The problem is, that as soon as you go off the diet, you will gain all of the weight back. So inorder to lose weight permanently; you need to pick a "diet" that will last a lifetime. For me it's suger busters. For you it could be something else. What works for me might not work for you. So good luck to all of you!

Atkins is a little more restrictive. NO fruits and not very many vegetables either. Just meat and eggs. no bread whatsoever. High fat, high protein. It works too. But it isn't very healthy long term. And when you go off it, you gain all the weight back and then some.

isn't that like the adkins diet (spell check)?
Um anyhow. I totally agree with you. If you want to lose weight, it's not an "until I get there" it's for life. Good luck to you.

It's a diet where you limit the amount of sugar, starches, and refined carbohydrates you eat. No candy, potatoes, or white bread products. It's hard at first, but once you get started, it's really easy! After a while, I didn't even want suger things anymore. The other day, I had a piece of chocolate cake and i was like, "Ew this is so gross!" it tasted too sweet! I couldnt even take another bite!
