I know this will be deleted but maybe some will see it. How come you all have to lose weight? Im 15, 5'9" and 300 pounds and im happy. Sure im not the healthiest but this site really does need to teach kids they need to feel good about themselves. All this site really says is if you are overwheight you need to lose weight, wich could be taken many ways. Please try to promote size accpetance, this site promotes bullies, it does not really help! And some of these posts are not good! I only read a few but one said to stop eating all carbs...that is not healthy! To be healthy one must eat a balanced diet that consists of all foods. Please do not delete this post, that will only prove my points. Being overwheight can lead to suicide or unhealthy habbits, many forming from depression because one is fat. And all this site seems to say is that they are right, the person is really fat and needs to lose weight, wheres the size acceptance?

Deseray , nobody saidanything bout overweight being healthy, but it's like..maybe some people like being chubby or sumthin, i mean..nobody has to do anything that they dont really need to, i can understand if someone was like 500 lbs needing to lose weight but like if they are like 15 lbs overweight and they 're happy then let them be.

ok i agree wit u but i disagree being over weight is NOT healthy and i know u said that but come on now its hard enough for me to come in here asking for diet tips (i weigh 143) and i see ppl that are 200 and up i mean i am not a very healthy weight myself and my doctor told me i was at risk of beoming over weight and i didnt want that to happen so i cut down on my food s but the thing is is i see ppl slowyly dieing because they are overweight it is actually happening to my cousin this very instant shes 5'3 and 520lbs she cant walk, she cant even get up to go to the bath room and yes i know 520lbs isnt tooo serious but she has trouble and the doctor said if she doesnt do sumthin then within the next 5 years she will pass AND U DONT WANT THAT TO HAPPEN 2 U RITE? i mean i dont know y cuzin very well its just the thought that she is dieing because she eats too much

Um..this guy has a point. Cause i've been there, i've been depressed, still am, and i've threatened to kill myself because of my weight. This site doesn't teach anything about all that , all they teach you is about healthy foods and how u gain weight and how to lose it. Maybe not all of us need to lose weight. Maybe we just need to tone ourselves up or actually not even need to do anything. I've seen alot of people here that are like 125 lbs and like 13 yr.s old and 5'5 and they think they're overweight or fat, or w/e, which isn't true. The media and kids our age make us think that we're fat. My friend who's like 90 lbs, 5'4, and wears a size 0 in pants. She thinks she's fat, and she's not. I am 12, 5'5, 173 lbs. My doctor said that i shouldnt go below 130 lbs. And all my friends say that i should weigh like 100 which is totally not true, i have a medium/large body frame. And my goal is 135 lbs. (like anyone cares, lol) Ok..well yeah..i think i've made my point here, see ya'll around

CONSIDER YTOURSELF LUCKY WE ARE THE SAME AGE AND I GOT YOU BY 200 POUNDS AND I AGREE WITH YOU TO A CERTAIN POINT PEOPLE SHOULDN'T JUDGE YOU BY THE WAY YOU LOPK BUT BY THE WAY YOU ACT. Promoting self exceptance is a great thing, and whenever i post about losing weight I always tell people they need to accept themselves. But, being overweight is damaging to people's social lives and especially their health. If people aren't happy with themselves, they should change. If that means losing weight, exercising, getting a different job, read more, whatever, as long as it improved quality of life, it will be a good thing. Thanx for your concern, tho.

Excuse me TeenGuy but when ppl can get together and express their feelings about certain things I think thats great!!! this site cant just tell ppl that overeating can be bad for your health, but thats okay go right ahead. they have to show them the facts. what do you expect them to say? Oh it's okay, go and be a couch potato it cant hurt anything.

Hi. First off no one can delete your message, so I don't know why you said that. Second, I am slightly overweight and feel great about myself. I definately think it is wrong when girls who are 130 pounds or less think they are fat and need to lose weight. I think that girls especially younger girls, are highly affected by the media. When you see pictures of 100 pound women and that is what other people tell you beauty is you start to feel horrible that you can't fit that image. But that image is an impossible dream, almost all ads are touched up and airbrushed. I do not think I need to lose weight because of any other reason except for health reasons. Those who are overweight are more likely to have cardiovascular diseases, certain cancers, and many other health problems later in life. It is important that if you are severly overweight, I am not talking 10 pounds, to try to lose some weight in order to live a healthy life. This sight does NOT say that if you are fat you need to lose weight, but promotes a healthy lifestyle.
