Ht. 6'0", Start: 255 lb, Today: 249.8 lb (BMI %tile: 98), Goal: 155 lb - HIIIII :} ii havnt been on here in a while...but summer just started and im losing 40 pounds this summer!!!! i can do it...its about 4 pounds a week and i know that is possible becaue ive lost 10 pounds one week!!! i just gotta work my but off!!! sooo heres my plan 1200 calorie diet...and since i dont have a gym member ship since i cant afford one right now...im running one mile 3 times a day....abs everyother day....and stretching everyday...if i end up getting a gym member ship i will add a hour of cardio to that...I also would start a lifting program. For lunch Im going to have a turkey and cheese sandwhich a snack will be a can of green beans and dinner would be a really good vegie plate with some potatoes... ill come here once a week prolly because if i come every day ill get really frustrated...it seems to always be that way...well this week im hoping for a lose of 5 pounds!!!! wish me luck and good luck to evveryone else!

thanks for the suggestions...but 5 pounds my doctor said was healthy for the first few weeks and also said 1200 calories was fine...but once i get smaller i wont be losing 5 a week more like 1 or 2...

If you are planning on running, I would eat at least 1700 calories a day. 1200-calories burned running is really too few calories a day! Your metabolism will slow down a lot and that will make losing weight very difficult and gaining weight VERY easy. Just be careful!

It's really not safe to lose weight that fast, plus, it makes it almost completely impossible to keep the weight off. A healthy rate of weight loss is 1 to 2 pounds per week. Anymore and you're risking your health and your success.
