Ht. 5'6", Start: 181 lb, Today: 149.6 lb (BMI %tile: 76), Goal: 120 lb - Hey everyone! So now I'm finally in the 140s!!! :D I never knew I was able to reach my mini goal challenge but I did with lots of hard work! I was wondering if doing cardio for 5 times a week for an hour at a 3.7 speed (slow I know! lol) and a mile of 3.60 was good? My friend told me that was basically jogging for beginners and if I wanted to lose more, especially now that I'm in the 140s and will only get tougher, I need to do more cardio as well as strength training. I was wondering what other workouts do you guys recommend? thank you!

Thank you jessica!!! I'm going to smoothly transition .1 miles per hour a day rather than shocking my body by running 5 miles per hour when I'm not use to it. Thanks again. :)

yes its good you have to start somewhere!!! its a very slow jog but youll be able to get up there before you know it and will be running faster than youve ever done before. Its good to work your way up to a speed your comfortable with...push yourself but dont jump from that to a 6 speed right away go up .1 every few days...and increase your speed. it will push you before you get to used to a certain speed...good luck!!!
