Ht. 5'5", Start: 181 lb, Today: 157.8 lb (BMI %tile: 86), Goal: 125 lb - Hello. Another 2 pounds down :) Today I'm planning to add some cardio into my weekly weight loss regime. However, I have an important question about my gut.
What I don't understand is why I have a curvy waist where you can see the lining of my waist going in as if its slender lol. But when I look into the mirror I see a gut thats stopping me from having a flat tummy:( I really want to lose this. Do you guys have any advice. or Equipments? thank you!

Those lines are what is supporting your root beer belly!!! All you have to do is do weight training and it will go away. But you will still have those lines but they'll be sexy lines.

Hello. Thank you for that post Taylor! It was a nice long read (:
I'm hoping I can lose it. Right now I'm just eating healthy and doing 30 minute cardio. And after I lose lots of fat I'll start toning up! :) I'm hoping I can lose it. :)

Sit ups are good for toning the muscles. Toning is really all you can to do "get rid of it", but toning can only do so much. Like Christine said a lot of it is just you're body shape, how your body stores fat, which may not be exactly like someone else. You just have to learn to embrace it. I'm similar. I used to be pretty thin, and I did tons of sit ups everyday, and my stomach wasn't ever flat. It's always bother me, but I realize now I'm probably not going to ever have a completely flat stomach, and there isn't much I can do about it. I've also heard that lots of women will carry a bit of extra belly fat (especially in their lower stomach) because it promotes fertility, their supposed to have that because it maximizes their ability to concieve and carry children, so if weight loss and toning can't get your stomach from being flat, be proud! It's because you're a women, because your special, because it gives you the ability to have a maximum healthy chance at concieving and carrying a child to full term. Whether it's something your interested in or not, whether you want children or not, it's a special thing that you have that ability, so don't worry too much about carrying a bit of extra weight around your tummy, it's there for a reason.

Congrats on the weight loss so far! Doing well!
As for the stomach issue... do you just mean looking curvy from the front? Most of us have that, and it's beautiful! Just part of your body shape -- some people are straight up-and-down (whether they're thin or heavy) and some are curvy (again, regardless of weight). For example, I'm about 25 pounds overweight, but I'm an hourglass figure. When I lose weight, I'll lose some of that, but it'll probably stay with me since that's just how my body is.
