Ht. 5'5", Start: 184 lb, Today: 178 lb, Goal: 150 lb - Hi guys. For the first time in MONTHS I was actually pretty happy with how I did today. Maybe it wasn't the best day or anything but I'm working on it...For breakfast I had 3/4 cup of Trader Joe's maple cluster cereal with 1 cup of skim milk, and 6oz of no-sugar-added juice; for lunch I had half of a chicken wrap with some mustard, a bowl of tomato soup, and some water; later for a snack I had a low-fat pudding cup; for dinner I had some light homemade pizza with broccoli rabe (an Italian vegetable like a cross between spinach and broccoli), some salad, and some sugar free iced tea; for dessert I had a small nonfat frozen yogurt. I also did laps on my bike around the parking lot for about 10 min, tomorrow I hope to go for about 30min. How did I do? I hope to ride my bike a lot over the summer. :) I've never rode the bike trails near my house before, but there are a lot of cute guys from neighboring schools and I'd like to check it out. The problem is...I feel REALLY self-conscious exercising while there are people around. I know it's ridiculous and I can't hide forever, so how do you guys deal???

Hey! I think you did greatt, that food sounded healthy+nutritious. Also the working out was good, I want to buy a bike so I can ride it too but yeah I have that same problem...self conciousness and I always think oh people will be looking at the fat girl on the bike...especially if you're riding alone! BUT we only live once, screw the people who look! it would matter once we're future hotties with bodies ;) to get healthy...you don't ahve to look. Everyone works out ( well not everyone) people know the deal with outdoor and indoor exercise, so let them watch :) watch back! lol I felt pretty good about my day too. Yay for feeling good! high five, gf! lol good luck on the rest of the week~:)

Well, I think you did very well foodwise, exercise could be better though. When I was around 220's I used to be nervous about jogging outside but really no one minds. When you see someone trying to better themself most people won't laugh. Now I don't really think about it. I have to workout for crew (and lose weight for that matter) or else I won't be where I need to be for fall season. I think you should just go for-why wait to exercise. Its fun. Now I'm comfortable running in my neighborhood which might be because I do the whole 3 miles in 28-29 minutes. Just do what you want for yourself and screw idiots who have something negative to say about it.
