Ht. 5'4", Start: 210 lb, Today: 176 lb, Goal: 140 lb - hey I was thinking of changing up my eating habits and lately I've been in love with salad. Chicken salad- to be exact. The chicken is cut up into little squares and made in half a tea spoon of olive oil and lemon juice. Will I lose any weight if I eat this everyday? substituting it for like a sandwhich or rice(brown) or something.

That sounds good but I read you're supposed to add variety to your diet so why not have a wrap, TV dinner (Weight Watchers of Lean Cuisine are yummy!), or microwavable soup once in a while? And of course make sure salads, fruit, water and some form of healthy carbs--like whole wheat bread--are in your diet too. You'll be alright, just keep going. ;)

yeah. i think esp. substituting it for a sandwich because bread can really slow the weight loss process. just be careful of your cals and make sure you're eating enough fruits and veggies and drinking water!

hey, yeah i think you will lose weight by eating that, its very healthy and low in cals. and to answer ur question of what i do, honestly all i do is count calories. i hardly exercise, but i try and walk when i can. i cheat a lot, but the weight still comes off, slowly but surely. like maybe 5 pounds a month if im lucky, but it doesnt bother me cause i know that a couple months down the road it adds up. stay strong, you can do it :)
