Hi, I weigh 168 pounds and I am 5'5. This is not a lie. I was weighed and measured yesterday at the doctors. He said I need to lose 43 pounds, and I am already on a diet! I practically never have junk food and I drink lots of fluids. I never skip meals because I know how dangerous that can be. I try to avoid eating and drinking fattening stuff, but it doesn't help. I have gained 13 pounds since Christmas. If anyone has any tips on losing weight-and I've already gotten the Blubber Busters tips- can you please help! (I also play basketball, and I practice soccer for over an hour every day! i am not exagerating on any of this! please help! thanks.

Me and my brother are both overweight. I am 5'8" and 190 lbs, and he is 5' and 140 lbs. He is 9. We both wear size 34 pants, sometimes I have to go up to 36. My dad is thin. He is 6' and 170 lbs. He wears 32 pants. When he took me and my brother shopping for dress clothes, he yelled at us when he had to buy bigger clothes for us than what he wears. What can me and my brother do to not be so fat anymore?

I've been writing to the owners of this web page about a photos page, and they said due to laws and parental restrictions, they could only put a blurred face on with a normal unblurred body. This seemed ok to me beacuse we wanted to focus on the body anyway. Anyone willing to send a before and after photo please reply, because I'd like to give the owner of the page a rough number. ~*Thanks*~

I've seen advice from adults and nutritionalists on this site and I'm wondering if they could give me a bit of advice too. Which gyms allow you to join when you're 14 or 15? Because I really want to work out at Golds or Sport and Health fitness center. Those big gyms would be a big motivator for me, and I could go with my dad too. Any one know?

I was just writing some advice to someone and I remembered something. I was watching a talk show one morning and I saw this incredibly skinny lady they had on. She had "invented" a really cool diet tool. It was a plate that was painted. It showed exactly how much each space on the plate should be used for what foods. Like 1/4 meat, 1/4 starch and other types of foods, and 2/4 vegetables. Before she patented this plate (which she had made) she used it for 3 meals, had no seconds, and lost 50 pounds! I think that would be a great thing to do. If you don't want to put much effort into it, just by a cheap (fairly small) clear plate, and on the bottom (opposite eating side) draw on the portions that I listed above and use it for a week for every meal, and let me know how it turned out!

I am about 200 pounds. I hate it when I can't find clothes that "regular" girls wear. Especially jeans! I have recently found that Gap.com has womens' sizes 0-20 exclusively online. They have boot-cut, flare, and straight legged jeans. They even have different lengths you can choose from; x-short, ankle, regular, and long. I just wanted to share this to all who have trouble finding jeans.
