i think im fat and i've tryed to stop eating lots of times but every time i do my mother finds out im deprested and what to lose wate and i haven't eaten all today

I have some things to say -> IF you really want to loose weight, don'T insult yourself by saying "I'm fat" or "I'm so fat": Why? Well, I gained weight and got "fat" through depression. Saying things like those above sayings, and what many of what I've seen below, can make you really depressed and cause anxiety.. which can lead to gaining weight! Not loosing weight! Don't starve yourself to loose weight. That is the wrong thing to do! I saw a great tip yesterday... before you eat something unhealthy, eat 3 things that are healthy first. So to every thing you eat unhealthy or junky, eat 3 times as much healthy sstuff. BUt do remember! Too much of a good thing, is a bad thing! Thats why you should try to keep balance. If you get hungry between meals, eat something small and healthy. Eat it slowly so your stomach registers itsself full before you stuff yourself too much. ALso, try turning on some music and dancing to it. Jazzericise as they call it, is a really good way to work out and have a great time too!!! Don't read those fashion magazines!! They'll get you down, and make you want to do something darastic! Don't envy other peoples body, they have problems too. But don't envy them, because it'll make you feel worse! Be happy. I know being fat, heavy, stout, chubby, overweight, and obese is not the healthiest situation on the earth! But be happy! Be content with yourself and patient! It will help alot!

Hey guys, my name is Mary and I'm 17. I way 200-210 pounds. I am tall in a sense, but not really. My sister is taller than me. I gained weight through depression and anxiety. :P It stinks, but I used to weigh 240 almost 250. I'd love to here some tips you guys have on loosing weight! I also wouldn't mind becoming friends with some of you! I do have some loosing weight tips, if you want any! Because I've lost 30-40 pounds in the last 2 months!

Hi...when i was in 8th grade I always saw my mom exercising...and i thought that looked fun..so i did it..turns out i lose a size or 2 and about 15 lbs in 6 weeks..i was so proud of myself...but now im so lazy than ever..and its been kind of bad for me..becuz prom is coming up...my bf's..and its really depressed when ur in highschool and u feel fat and look it...and then u have to go to prom w/ ur bf..and feel fat...so ive decided to go ahead and starve myself...lol my only way out..and to exercise tae bo everyday...and then in the summer..ill eat some meals and go to bike rides..ill tell ya how i do : ) my email is natsacoolcat15@aol.com if u wanna email me and discuss anythin..here to help : ) byebye!

Oh forgot my tip in return: For the plank excersize lay stomach first on the ground and get in push up position with your hands one on top of each other and your elbows about four inches apart. Try not to stick your back end up too high or go down too low, ( if you're too low, you might hurt ur back if you do it for a while). Do that position for maybe 10 seconds and repeat again. I try to do it for a minute, but only do as much as you can! I know my instructions were a little confusing so try typing "plank ab toner" in google or another search engine. They might have a picture online. Ok, I know it sounds confusing but it really isn't.

Much thanks to Rachel and Rebecca! I'm saving your tips and going to use them! I REALLY appreciate that and how quick you were. To Alissa, well I'm 5'00 and most of my friends are about five or six inches taller than me, but it really makes a difference. I think I'm going to run every other day and tone my abs with the plank excersize. As you asked, I'll keep you posted. By the way, tonight I had to go to dinner for my brothers birthday and I had a healthy vegetable wrap and it was REALLY yummy. So thanks to everyone and if you have any more tips well, feel free because I'm open to anything, and I'm sure other people might want to know a little something too!

THIS IS TO SAM WHO REPLIED TO AN EIRLIER POST OF MINE: I am following the weight loss forever diet on which you lose up to 10 pounds a week. It is expencive but works ok but I still weigh 195. I just can't stand that 2 pounds a week diet at 1,200 cals a day. I like the 10 pounds a week and 700 cals a day. - Just wanted to have a say, Nicola:-)

Hey Babez, To start out with, i am not fat. I just want to tone my body. But to do that, i need some help. My theighs! I have been playing soccer my whole life. My theighs are really, really muscular, and big. I want to reduce the size, but how would i do that? If i excercised more, wouldent that make them appear larger,and more muscular? But, what if i sat out a season....then my legs would become fatty! See, i can't think of a resolution. Any ideas would be greatly apprecited. Also, my tummy, needs so help toning those abs, any ideas? Thanks Hunniez~Rachel

IN REPLY TO MICHELLE AGE 14: whoops sorry about that last one. Totell you the truth i actually am a little larger in the chest and have smaller arms and legs. All of my weight is in my stomach i guess a little in my thighs. It has been about a week since i lost the ten pounds.
