I have tried to lose weight before and have found out it is one of the most hardest thing that kids today face. I have never given up on it totally and dont intend to now. I would really help though if i had an email buddy to work with. It always helps when u have another person to go along with so it kind of forces u to do it so i guess u can keep up with the other person. I dont think we have to do this by ourselves. So, its the holidays and I have gone on a eating frenzy. I swear, I have gained all the weight I loss plus some in one day!! Ugh....Thanksgiving. I just wanted to drop a couple words of encouragement. Remember...even though you might of gained a few, its no reason to give up....even though thats how I feel. (i am not over weight by the way i was just doing that to see if i do get over weight if i can lose pounds or if it would be so hard) it is not at all hard. the people who say it is must have a big will power promblem. all u need is loads of healthy food and gum! u can eat whatever u want for all 3 meals! just not too many 2nds and try to have more healthy food then fatting food. then for a little snack more healthy food, when u know u shoudln't eat no more but r still hungry gum is great for that! u can lose a pound a day if u stick with it. oh and maybe a little walk here or there! it is soooo easy with will power and confidinse, really!

If I was 2 pounds more I'd be overweight. About 2 years ago I weighed about 165 and over about 3 months of eatting healthy and excersizing I got down to 127. But I've gained most of it back. But I think I've finally ready to get healthy again, and this time for good. I just need some good advice and motivation to get going. I need to have salads always ready in the fridge to go and I just need to get some willpower going so that if I do ever have a treat I can have just a bite or two and not inhale a whole bunch of cookies or something. And I need to get motivated to get to the gym. I go to school 5 days a week form 8-5. Then I work 4 days a week from 530-11 or 12pm. So I have a hard time finding time to go to the gym. I'd like to aim to get there about 4 times a week.
I really want to get down to atleast 140. I''d prefer to be 130 though.
so any advice is greatly appricicated.

Im getting great results. Im 5'5 and used to weigh 145, now i weigh 140 and im still going down. My goal wieght is 125. I eat really healthy, 2 slices of toast w/a boiled egg in the morning, half a can of tuna and some vegetables during lunch, and potatoes or cambells soup for dinner. Plus ive been doing Tae-Bo w/ Billy Blanks, it really works, i have tone and muscle definition in my arms, and my waist is getting smaller.
You CANNOT lose weight extremely fast, losing wieght is a gradual thing, and alot of people don't understand that so they give up easily and don't do it for the long haul. Pills and "fad" diets are NOT the way to go, they are extremely dangerous to your health,you could die, and only make u lose water wieght, not fat. I know how it feels girls, but you have to stick to it and in 3 months you'll get definite results. REALLY LOSING WIEGHT comes from working on u first, cuz if you don't love yourself, and work on the inside losing wieght, no matter what you do, is never gonna happen,
