I usually eat alot, maybe about 1,700-2,000 calories a day and bascilly no exercise. If i have 2 of the slim fast shakes a day, and air popped popcorn with no salt or butter, and an apple for a snack and some type of chicken dinner, would I lose weight? DO THE SLIM FAST SHAKES(2 A DAY) WORK? and if so, if every sunday if i treated myself to a box of fat free ju ju bees, would i still lose weight?

From anne, Age 16 - 9/29/03 - IP#: 216.66.108.xxx Click here to reply bread isn't "really bad" for you- but you could eat healthier. bread just causes water retention. have you ever heard of the cave woman diet? it means eating only unproceced foods that can only be found in nature. that means no bread either but it's a really good diet. the theory behind it is that the humans that were around in the gathering age where they only foraged for food in the wild had a lot better skeletons, less calories and were overall more healthy and lived longer when scientists looked attheir remains- whereas the skeletons that were found that belonged to the farming age were less healthy and had more cavities and things...well- i thought it was neat- i might try it...

First, Get up in the morning, eat a peach and a piece of bread. At Lunch i get a milk, a 6" sandwich with chesse and turkey, with a side dish of some fries or maybe chips. I excersize 30 minutes a day, but an 1 1/2 on Tuesdays and Thursdays because of gymnastics/tumbling. Right after excersize, i drink a BIG glass of water, then wait for about 20 minutes before I eat something. I dont drink pop. Is it also a good Idea to not eat after 6 PM? or 8 PM? Please reply with some more excersize tips i can do for my excersize or just some tips please. ASAP!

I am going to run a mile in the morning b4 getting ready for school and do some stomach excersisces... then I am going to the gym after school to do some weight lifting (I am only gonna do this 3 times a week) then I am going to jog for an hour at night b4 I get ready for bed... I am going to have a cup of coffe (no sugar) and a bowl of oatmeal for breakfast, for lunch I am going to have an apple and a banana, and for dinner a yogurt... good luck to me

From anne, Age 16 - 9/28/03 - IP#: 216.66.108.xxx Click here to reply hey- people shouldn't make fun of anyone on their apearance but they do- and really when people should be ridiculed for their attitudes you realize that the ones who should have it hard is the ones who are picking on people. also- if there are skinny people who pick on you just because they don't know what it feels like to be bigger- just remember that if you get over your weight problem now it'll probably be for life and you won't gain it back and if you do you'll know how to lose it again, but the really thin people who eat whatever they want their metabolisms wil;l slow down with age and it'll catch up with them in their adult life and it'll be harder to get it off. so be glad that you're dealing with it now instead of when you're older...
