Ht. 5'3.2", Start: 175 lb, Today: 158 lb, Goal: 140 lb - Hey guys! I haven't been here for a while but I'm stillll going! I have started Jillian Michael's workout Banish Fat, Boost Metabolism and it is very intense. But worth it. The aerobics are phenomenal and doing 3 days (only half of the workout) one week I lost a pound. It's wonderful, you should try it! My goal is to lose 6 more pounds by the middle of December with this workout. Or maybe more. Who knows? ;] Keep up the great work, everyone! :D

hey! A good start for all of you might be to get a little book called "toning for teens" its an excellent start to weight loss and healthy dieting. It's helped me tone and shape my body to make it look the way I want it to. It also includes eating, exercises & weight training. A lot of people fear weights and this book will calm your fears and it shows you exercises to do with the weights. I hope some of you will look into it! Its about $25 canadian and definitely is worth it! After you read it, pass it on to your parents and they too will be motivated to help you!

Ht. 5'6", Start: 221 lb, Current: 208 lb, Goal: 140 lb - Hey guys, I haven't posted about myself in a while, i've just been answering other peoples' posts. So for the past couple of weeks i've only been going to the gym max 3 days a week instead of my usual 5-6 days a week and I haven't been watching what I eat really since i've had to go to 49584358 graduation parties, and I actually lost a pound. I don't know how it happened, but I know it's not gonna last so I decided to restart my routine today. ..For my excercise routine, Mondays I take an hour long spin class which is my cardio, I love it it's so much fun and i'm like, drenched in sweat by the end of it! I almost forget i'm working out it's so fun. Tuesdays I do the treadmill, 30 minutes at 3.1 mph at an incline of 12.5 and then I jog for 5 minutes walk for 5 minutes and jog another 5 minutes and that's 45 minutes of cardio. For Wednesdays and Saturdays I do the same thing: Spin class for an hour and then I work with my trainer for an hour doing strength and weights and stuff. Thursdays and Sundays I do Jillian Michaels 30 day Shred workout DVD, I LOVE IT, ITS SO AWESOME AND EVERYONE SHOULD GO OUT AND BUY IT!!. Fridays I give myself the day off.

Ht. 5'9", Start: 330 lb, Current: 282 lb, Goal: 150 lb - So I got DDR for my birthday. It is amazing. It counts how many calories you lose and it tells you how much weight you lose. I lost 854 calories playing for four hours. I am hoping I can lose a lot on this. I hate going outside in the winter. It sucks, so hopefully by summer I can be down to a 18-16. =]

Ht. 5'6", Start: 184 lb, Current: 182 lb, Goal: 145 lb - Hi! This is my first post on Blubber Busters in...uh...gosh, it's been so many centuries I can't even remember! Anyway, I've returned because I am disgusted with my life. See, I started off at 184 lbs in Feb. of 2006. I bought The Diet for Teenagers Only, an amazing book, and began to turn my life around. I got as low as 164 lbs in May of 2007, but then I had some really awful family tragedies during the summer, and my stress level skyrocketed. I started relying on food for comfort and at night I'd feel awful about my life AND diet and would bawl for an hour before falling into a unrestful sleep. I started waking up late and not feeling refreshed, and as the pounds crept back on I began to "let myself go." I didn't bother getting manicures or make my hair look nice anymore because my confidence was at an all-time low. Then. this month, I desperately bought a copy of "Body+Soul" Magazine in hopes of finding some help and after reading some of the most inspiring articles in my life felt as though someone had slapped me on the face. Hard. What was I doing sitting around moping, clogging my arteries and loosing my flexibility? Enough was enough! I realized I'd had the wrong attitude all along; I'd been to arrogant to ask for help, and as a result when hard times hit my progress backfired. Never again, I vow. Mid-terms have just ended and I'm starting to re-read my precious "food bible". Today I did Pilates for the first time in about 7 or 8 months and barely winded through it. So I've come here to keep me motivated to do my best every day. My birthday is next month, and I really want to weight at least 175 lbs by then. This year, my birthday resolution is to take a more positive outlook on life, appreciate what I have, learn to respect my body, and get in good shape for the rest of my life. This is my story, and I hope all of you will find lots of success! Good luck! :P

After reading this book written by a 11 year old about how horrible her life was because she was fat made me push myself not to let the same thing happen to me.

It really builds endurance (because it lasts an hour) and its in a group setting so competitive streaks set in. I recommend it to you all-even though your butt area will feel so bruised the next day. I'm going back tomorrow. so excited. For those of us college girls, I believe most school gyms offer these classes free of charge.

I am extremely obese and unhappy with my health. So I decided to make a change. 2 weeks ago I started this dance workout DVD called BYou for about an hour and a half each day, and have started eating smarter. And in those 2 weeks I lost 5 pounds! It may not seem like much, but I'm so happy. The DVD gets easier to do each time, and it's fun! I have a long way to go before I reach my healthy weight, but I know I can get there. My goal is to lose 80 pounds in 10 months. I hope to share the experience with you as I continue my journey. And I just have to say that no matter what size you are you can become a healthy you. Just stick with your plan and you'll get there! And if anyone would like to purchase the Byou Dance Workout- Go to Walmart.com and search for BYou. The DVD is available for about $10! Good Luck With Your Plans!

This is ANONOMOUS's story: Hi lucy i read your story and found it very inspiring. i would love to be able to lose weight like that. you see, when i was eight years of age about, i became aware of the fact that i was big and overweight. i was on a diet rollercoaster ever since then and iv changed my mind about dieting off and on.first id do good and fell like losing weight was hard but i would keep going. then i would eat like crap and decide i liked myself how i was and would live with it and continue eating like crap.then at the age i think 10 i was getting serious about dieting, not losing any weight but not gaining either. just as i was figuring things out, making schedules, my gramma called me and said that she had diet book for me. i thought hey it might be interesting to look at and i imagined it to be a small hand book. then she gave it to me and it was great. it was a book called the diet for teenagers only. well i m not a teen but i am a preteen. so i started following it and i lost 12 pounds. then mi cuzins came frum sc and i gained like 7 pounds cuz they aint on no diet.and well i didnt lose or gain since then. me n mi cuzin (not the one from sc) are on the diet together and we aren't giving up. i weigh 137 pounds and i want to weigh 100 pounds and well thats mi story plese give moi some great tips(also yall should really try this diet for teens only book its great, actually i foundout about this site form that book) peaace!!

It strengthens you, gives you more flexibility, and gives you muscle without the bulk. My favorite DVD is called Weight Loss with Kundalini Yoga: A Complete Course for Mind Body and Spirit with Instructor Nirvair Singh Khalsa. It's one in a set of DVDs, buy if you look on Amazon, ebay, etc. you can probably just buy the one tape. I love doing it! I've been following the Diet for Teenagers Only, an awesome book I would recommend to anyone. I love my personality and I love myself for who I am. I also think I am pretty and I accept that I will never be a skinny stick. I'm okay with that! My doctor said I was doing a great job on my weight loss and told me to be between 140-150 lbs, so my goal is 145-150. The only thing is I would like to shape up and get rid of my acne so I can be more confident when I go to high school in the fall. Thanks for listening! :-)

The first week start doing mission 1 then mission 2 then mission 3 Like make a schedule of exercises and food you want to eat that day make sure you have extra calories that you can put in so something that unxepted happens like a party or something you can have food for that extra time

I've been on a diet since last year of November but I didn't start losing weight until February of this month, at least thats what I thought. Its real frustrating. So, I decided to try again to put a stop to it. I checked out this book from the library called life is hard, food is easy. I think the book was written for me :-) and others who binge. So if ur like me, u should probably read this book. What I loved most about the book is that she stated that food is sum times ur best friend(there for u when u need it) and It might be time to get a new best friend. Good Luck to everybody!

Ht. 5ft. 4in, Wt. 171lbs - I am reading the American Girl LIbrary book "THE CARE AND KEEPING OF YOU." It's a great body guide for pre-teens and young teens. I am NOT ON A DIET. I am following their guidlines to eating healthy and accepting myself for beautiful, becuase like I said heritarily I willl NEVER BE A SIZE 4! And I'm 100% okay with that. My goal is to get to a size 6-8 in Jeans, like my friend Jess. You are all beatiful, girls! Besides reading this, read "THE DIET BOOK FOR TEENAGERS ONLY" to learn how to shop using nutritional info. They;re both very encouraging.
