~ HAVE TO ADDRESS THIS CONTROVERSY ~
Hi everyone,
I wanted to reach out about something serious, and I hope you may find this message helpful or thought-provoking.
Even though BlubberBuster is a place meant for overweight people to share their stories, experiences, and journeys—I understand and respect that—but just because this site offers a platform for expression, it does not mean it’s okay to exploit, embarrass, or shame others. Unfortunately, that is exactly what happened in one part of this community, and I feel it’s my responsibility to speak on it.
Some time ago, a person named Luke Morris used this website to upload images and text targeting me and some of my friends—including a close friend named Luca—without our consent. These were not just harmless jokes or typical posts. These were targeted attacks, including topless images of me that I did not give permission to use. It crossed the line—morally, ethically, and legally.
At the time, I was too overwhelmed to properly address it. I was being harassed from multiple angles, and rather than speak up, I stayed quiet. But silence only gives power to the people who abuse platforms like this. So now, I’m using my voice to say: This was wrong. Full stop. Not just for me, but for anyone who has been unfairly dragged, mocked, or exposed here.
This is not about revenge. It’s about accountability. It’s about drawing a line and making it clear that body shaming, unauthorized image sharing, and cyberstalking have no place on this or any other site—regardless of the platform's original purpose. If we’re going to talk about bodies, identity, and personal stories, it should be done with consent and respect.
To anyone who saw the images or read the captions posted about me or others—I want to apologize. Not because I did anything wrong, but because no one should have had to witness that kind of behavior. It reflects badly on what this community could be, and I deeply regret that it happened at all.
To Luke: you had the audacity to exploit a vulnerable platform for personal grudges. You weaponized a community for people seeking support. And for that, no apology you make can undo the damage you caused. But I will not stoop to your level. I will not return hate with hate. I will address it, shut it down, and move on. That is my way forward.
And to anyone else here feeling unsafe, ashamed, or humiliated—just know you’re not alone. You have the right to stand up, to take action, and to speak out. Your body, your image, and your story are yours alone. Don’t let anyone take that from you.
This post is not for pity. It’s a declaration. I’ve taken my power back. And if you’ve been affected like I have, I hope this encourages you to do the same.
Thank you for reading.
