BULLETIN BOARD

~REPLY WRITING AREA~

Before you post a reply saying that you are overweight or that you want to lose weight, please first check our Weight Calculator . If the calculator says that you are healthy weight, please do not post a message saying that you are overweight or that you want to lose weight.  This offends the kids who really are overweight.  Thanks a lot.

it's sick that the media makes people like us feel like our physical image is everything! it's not even close! you know you could be perfectly ugly but still attractive! there are other things to attraction and a hell lot more to liking yourse;f then weight or facial features! come on guys! you can have an absolutely amazing life by surviving on your individual character! hell! we live in america and the u.k.! these countries strive on individuality not how much you can look like everyone else! but the media destroys that in ver sick and twisted ways. we are bombarded with images of very very thin and computerized/sugurized women like they're everywhere when in truth there are only 8% of women who look anything near to those images! just concentrate on being healthy and living up your life. you want to lose weight? go ahead- it's great for your health but don't kill yourself for such trivial and absolutely wrong ideals! physical beauty hardly makes anyone cool enough to spend the rest of your life with. just think about it. you're young. you spend a lot of time like everyone else trying to be attractive and to get someone to spend the rest of your life with- but who wants someone who always is obsessing over such petty things? besides- don't you want to be interesting in other ways for yourself? sorry for such a long outburst but it needed to be said...
