Before you post a reply saying that you are overweight or that you want to lose weight, please first check our Weight Calculator . Ht. 5'4", Today: 130 lb, Goal: 120 lb - Hey all, it's been a while, huh? Well as somew of you know I have lost about 10 lbs since last summer. I just made my high school's color guard and I am going to be super active all summer. The coach gave us a simple workout routine. It consist of doing yoga for thirty minutes, lifting weights for an hour and a half, running 2 miles, doing 25 push-ups, 25 crunches, and 25 back crunches. Each of the things are done on different days so as not to wear you out. My coach said to split it up and do them on three different days a week. I have done everything she said except the back crunches. I do 1,000 back crunches every day (500 in the morning and 500 at night) The point of back crunches is to get that line down your back that most basketball players have. I've only been doing this since monday and I already have a line down my back. i had a faint one before, but now you can really see it. I am going to be gradually adding to my miles, push-ups, and crunches. I wouldn't recomend you doing the back cruches at 1,000 a day unless it doesn't make you too sore to walk. Start off at about 25 and add or subtract however many you need to. I also would like to know if anyone has any advice for me. In August we are getting fitted for guard uniforms (which will be fit one piece dance suits) and I want to lose about 10 lbs by then. Do you think that is possible? Right now I am 130 lbs and 5'4".
