Today made me happy, I ran a mile in my fastest time ever: 10 minutes. In november it took me around 12 minutes. I would advise people to use a mile run for a fitness goal. I've been doing a lot of sprints lately, and that has helped me. I would advise anyone who would like to improve stamina or lung capacity to run 5 minutes every other day and sprint on that day for 30 second intervals (totaling 4 minutes), then at the end of the week judge your progress by running the mile. You'll feel so much better, plus it gives you added confidence, and also it burns about 150 calories for every 10 minutes you run. It's a good fitness goal and i encourage all of you to try it sometime!
