. 3,500 calories = 1lb . you burn an average 70 calories an hour when you sleep 80 while lying awake (so read an hour a night and you are killing to birds with one stone!) .Very low-calorie diets are not without risk and should be pursued only under medical supervision and are potentially dangerous. . Many experts recommend a goal of losing about a pound a week. A modest reduction of 500 calories from your HEALTHY normal diet . crash diets are bad (losing that 5lbs in a week) and than resuming normal eating,... you will gain the weight back and it will be harder to lose!! . Meats are good for you,.. just cook them properly,GRILLED! no fast food and poltary is much better than red meats (get one of those george forman grills and cook EVERYthing on it!) . cut sweets out slowly and once a week ONCE! treat yourself to a Small portion od sweets.. (better if you only buy a slice of cake than you arent tempted to eat more or a small bag of chips) . Low fat foods aren't alwase good for you you need the "bad" fats in your diet just not to much of them .....Any questions post um i will answer asap! hope some of these enlightend you
