I wanna lose weight cause I'm 195, and that's just not shibby because of health problems I'm at risk for and such. I'm trying hard and stuff, and I looked through the site and wanna express my concerns for a lot of you. Many of you say you wanna lose weight so you aren't teased, you wanna attract a person, ect...and I just wanna say one thing: Forget all that. Why try and be accepted by a bunch of idiots who don't like you merely because of weight? If they're that shallow, would you really want them as friends? So you like a guy and he doesn't like you back cause of yer weight? Then forget about them, they're definitely not worth it. People who care more about looks then personality are usually boring anyway. I know how those of you who are losing weight for others feel. I was tortured through out elementry, teased, called fat, ect... It hurts. A lot. BUT, only now have I realized they don't matter. Lose weight for yourself and your health. Do it to be healthy, forget about society. And if your at a pretty healthy weight, don't try and overdo it, you'll end up hurting yourself. As the saying goes: If it ain't broke, don't fix it. You are who you are, and as long as your at a healthy weight, that's all that matters. If you live a healthy lifestyle and have a healthy body and are trying to lose weight for others, don't. Especally if anyone is outright insulting you and claiming your fat seriously, then you should rethink your friendship with them. If they can't be trusted to be nice to you when your fat, what good would they be one day down the road when you really need a friend...? Heh, I'm ranting, I know, BUT...well, heh, thought I should just point this out.
