~REPLY WRITING AREA~

Before you post a reply saying that you are overweight or that you want to lose weight, please first check our Weight Calculator . If the calculator says that you are healthy weight, please do not post a message saying that you are overweight or that you want to lose weight.  This offends the kids who really are overweight.  Thanks a lot.

This may sound weird, but i decided i was going to go anorexic for awhile. Well now im addicted to it.And its scary. I wrote a poem about it..In everybody’s mind Are two visions that they see An image of themselves And one of who they dream to be The dream is full of curves Hearts of gold and smiling light While self image is in a corner Growing darker, out of sight Soon the dream becomes more real So pure and easy to attain All that’s needed is a path Into this idolized domain The first step is so easy Just a little less to eat Each night you lay in hunger Soon drifting into sleep Eventually the hunger Is a habit not a pain It's a guarantee of beauty That your struggling to obtain Self image is so clouded Obscure in hidden haze Self confidence is lost Impossible to raise The image in a mirror Is a picture of distortion The figure that you see Your mind twists into false proportion Painful to your body, Delusive to your mind The beauty you once dreamed of Is too blurry to ever find All that’s left is pain A fight between your need and want Conscious taken over by A twisted obsession there to haunt Self confidence submerged In intoxicating deceit Of what real beauty is A goal impossible to meet Illusions slowly sunken Shattered hopes left on the floor Just the presence in a mirror Can show what this life is for The mirror shows a body Pale and weak with tear stung eyes And verging on its surface Is sadness nothing can disguise What started with a hope Of happiness and self esteem Became shallow desperation From misinterpreting a dream.
