Hey everybody I have some advice if you are looking to lose weight. My mom is a dietition (somebody who tries to help people get into healthier habbits in order to lose weight) and I have some tips for you. Most of you really need to start cutting down on the chips and pop. They are extremely fattening! Try only 1 pop a day and something less fattening than chips as a snack (reduced fat chips, chex mix, or better yet-fruit!) Put your snack in a bowl rather than eating it out of the bag so you are more conscience of how much you are eating. Eat healthy food for breakfast (regular cheerios, toast with jam and no butter, or fruit) For lunch eat a sandwhich without mayo or salad or something. At dinner try not to eat too much and have some salad or fruit with it. You need to know that it is okay to be hungrey some of the time. You aren't always supposed to feel full. Try eating slower so you won't eat as much. Limit yourself to one snack a day after school. If you have dessert, make it small. Try not to eat too much b4 you go to bed. Also, don't put sugar on your fruit because it is not worth eating the fruit then. Drink lots of water. Celery is great because it takes MORE calories to digest it than are actually in celery so you can eat as much celery as you want. Exercise is VERY important! I you are watching TV do crunches during all of the commercials. Try to set an hour aside of just exercising. It's summer so go rollerblading, bikeing, jogging, walking or swimming!
