~REPLY WRITING AREA~

Before you post a reply saying that you are overweight or that you want to lose weight, please first check our Weight Calculator . If the calculator says that you are healthy weight, please do not post a message saying that you are overweight or that you want to lose weight.  This offends the kids who really are overweight.  Thanks a lot.

Here ae the things that are helping me lose weight. I still have a long way to go, but I'm not going to give up! *Have your parents help you. Tell them why you want to lose weight and how they can support you. *Clean out the kitchen, get rid of ALL junk food (chips, cnady, soda, etc.) You can't eat it if it's not there! *Eat low-CALORIE foods. One mistake I made was saying to myself, "Well it is low/no-fat, so it must be alright." Thats' not true. Companies add extra suger to their products to make up for the lost taste is there isn't much fat in them. So check the total calories instead of just the total fat. *Don't eat "white" foods. Potatoes, whitebread, and other startches contain tons of carbohydrates. Carbohydrates are good for you, but only if you are low on energy. Otherwise, they just pile up and make you gain weight. *No sports drinks or soda. *Excersise at least 30 minutes a day.
