A lot of you are doing very unhealthy things to your bodys. Not eating, not enough nearly enough, thinking about binging and purging. That's really retarded. I am 5ft 2 and at my highest weight I weighed 220lbs and was a snug US size 18/20. Through changing my diet and exercise I've lost just over 40lbs in 5 months, most of that in the past 2 1/2-3 motnhs. Yes, I still want to lose more weight, but I know how to do it healthily. Also, do any of you realize you are changing your LIFESTYLE. When you lose however much weight you want to lose (5lbs...10lbs..100lbs) you will not be able to suddenly eat all the pizza and ice cream you want and sit around all day. Yes, I do believe that most obesity is caused by laziness. Some people (like the girl on the steroids) do suffer from weight gain because of medicine or medical problems but MOST obesity is caused by being a couch potato. Oh, and I do have a glandular problem, it's called hypothyroidism. While it can make weight loss very difficult while not on medicine, it did not suddenly make me become 100 lbs overweight. It only takes a little bit of change to lose weight. Cut out the ice cream (only eat fatfree frozen yogurt) fast food and red meat and walk just a little bit a few times a week. You will notice a change. Also, unless your doctor says you need to lose weight (ask him/her), don't worry about yourself. Don't do stupid things to your body like some of you have and get educated on healthy ways of eating and exercising.
