Before you post a reply saying that you are overweight or that you want to lose weight, please first check our Weight Calculator . If the calculator says that you are healthy weight, please do not post a message saying that you are overweight or that you want to lose weight.  This offends the kids who really are overweight.  Thanks a lot.

Are you addicted to carbohydrates (ex. breads, cereals, cookies)? If so, I just read an internet article the other day that could help you out. It said that by eating food such as meat, cheese, eggs, and low-carb.veges (ex. broccoli, celery, lettuce)and by drinking A LOT of water, you could lose significant amounts of weight. I personally, always would prefer toast and cereal in the morning over eggs, but this low-fat and high sugar diet, presents a large problem. Most likely, it's the reason for so many people being overweight. Though I'm a definite carb-addict,I've cut down significantly on my carb-intake, and have lost around 5 pounds in the last 4 weeks, bringing me down to 140 lbs. Please don't starve yourself--- that just eliminates muscle first before fat. Do you want to be weaker? Please don't buy diet drinks--- they're gimmicks that only care about your money. In fact, I just learned that even excercises aimed @ slimming down target areas, only firm up your muscle but don't burn the fat away quickly. Doing aerobic excercise and using as many muscle groups as possible in your workout (about 4-6 times a week) will be the most benefitial in the long-run, even if it's a slower process. Good luck to everyone, and just remember to be safe yet determined.
