BULLETIN BOARD

~REPLY WRITING AREA~

Before you post a reply saying that you are overweight or that you want to lose weight, please first check our Weight Calculator . If the calculator says that you are healthy weight, please do not post a message saying that you are overweight or that you want to lose weight.  This offends the kids who really are overweight.  Thanks a lot.

From Falon, Age 15

Ht. 5'1", Start: 175 lb, Today: 148 lb, Goal: 115 lb - So all my life I have always been a "bigger" kid because I was my moms first child and she didn't know how much to feed me so often I would over eat and I started gaining weight due to this (DISCLAIMER: I'm not blaming my weight gain on my mom she just wanted to make sure I was healthy). I am still currently finding ways to lose more weight because I love myself no matter what, but I would like to improve because of sports I'm doing such as softball, powerlifting, and shot-put. Another motive for me is my friends, they don't make any rude comments and are always supportive of me but I feel like the "fat" one of the group and I don't want to feel that way anymore. I tend to get on diets and do good for a week then give up because I did bad one day, and I want to stop that, plus I'm not a picky eater so that has it's advantages and disadvantages. If anyone on here going through or has gone through this issue and knows a good diet to stay on please tell me because it would help a lot!
