BULLETIN BOARD

~REPLY WRITING AREA~

Before you post a reply saying that you are overweight or that you want to lose weight, please first check our Weight Calculator . If the calculator says that you are healthy weight, please do not post a message saying that you are overweight or that you want to lose weight.  This offends the kids who really are overweight.  Thanks a lot.

Ht. 5'3", Start: 188 lb, Today: 169 lb, Goal: 130 lb - I'm finally in the 160's! i haven't been this weight in 2 years... =) let me quickly tell you my story. i use to go on this site a lot three years ago. i was 165. then, over the course of 6 months, i dropped 130. i was happy and healthy. but, during my sophomore year, i gained over FIFTY pounds. i was so stressed and never slept so all i did was eat. i managed to lose 15 pounds last summer and this summer i finally decided to just become healthy. my word of advice, don't count calories unless you plan to do so for the rest of your life. the first time i lost weight i counted calories but i gained it all back and more once i stopped counting. last summer, i only portion controlled and lost 15 pounds. this summer, i portion controlled and lost almost 10 pounds so far. so guys, make sure your "diet" is a lifelong thing. do something you will always be able to do.
